mouse defaults on run most the time so if you are click happy you miss out on battles, that needs to be fixed. boss is 18atk/25magic, its hard to get magic points but it is a grind game.

Simple, enjoyable, a nice little game for passing a few minutes.
One suggestion: Change your mouse listeners, if possible. I'm clicking and holding to move around, and when a fight pops, of course, I release the mouse... But if I'm hovering over the "run" button when I release? Oops, ran from the fight!

SO GOOD just a simple little enjoyable game nice to be able to relax with this no stressful feelings...adjusting rating from 3 to 4 star

i like it but after i beat the boss i didn't see my kitty anywhere? was the cat at the part where it said we claimed the throne for ourself? maybe it's just my bad eye sight but i would like to see my kitty cat after rescuing him

Bahaumaut, I remember Kingdom of Loathing! My Disco Bandit practiced Pock Picketing... Also, did anyone else notice that the music was very reminiscent of the DragonWarrior games? It really brought back memories...
Yeah, music was accidentaly inspired by the 1st Dragon Warrior game. Like, I made the music and then someone pointed out that it shares the same progression for first couple of notes.

A definite like. Simple in form, but I'm a sucker for 'retro', including the music. It also gives off a strong 'Kingdom Of Loathing' vibe. A bit on the short side, but given its simplicity, it works out in the game's favor rather than enforcing a grind which would make it tedious, not fun.

I LOVED this game
even though the Boss had great music, i thought it was tougher and that it had 10 hits rather than 1st form 2 hits and 2nd form 3 hits, but i LOVE this game 10/10
make a sequel plz and at least 3 bosses and the final boss would be good, same drawing style, and more areas.

That's interesting, the game's name is similar to the Russian RPG classic, "Proklyatye Zemli" ("Evil Islands" on the foreign market, but the exact translation of the name would be "Cursed Lands"). Even the logo looks very similar to the one of the English version. Were you a fan of this game 15 years ago?

The music reminds me of dragon warrior monsters. And it's funny cuz I was just humming it last night before I played this game.

Would be nice to be able to read the description of items in the inventory. I got the amulet and closed the window immediatly because the mouse was over the OK button... Had to what the walkthrough to find out that it provides a health bonus.

My only complaint is that I would very often accidentally run from battles on the Average Plains just because of the way the battle screen came up. Other than that, fun but a bit short

Scientist:"I found! It's a plant called Eichhornia. It's really common in South America and Europe, and floats on the water!"

Simple, interesting. Good job. If you can add a bit more options without making it too complex it would be awesome :)

5/5. I've been missing these types of simplistic RPGs on Kongregate. You can easily tell how much love was put into this game; sometimes less is more.

I was disappointed with the end. He should have three forms, and the last one be a dragon.
Maybe try to put in a third attribute type(speed, or dexterity), to give more enemy options in the future.

Wow. I was on the team of the game from which you borrowed your logo :) This isn't a complaint, I don't think anybody would mind. It's just amazing that someone still remembers it 15 years after release.

Not a big deal, but I quite liked it. Only problem I had is that in the later stages of the game, I met way more 'magic' enemies than 'strength' ones, so it took me a (relatively) long time to get strong enough to defeat the boss. Might have been a fluke of the random number generator, though.

This is pretty likable. Simple, maybe, but a fantastic first game. Goodpace, good use of music and sound, and blissfully lacking all the horrible nuisance value stuff that devs like to force down our throats lately. Good job. I died on my first attempt, but I'll be back. And once I've finished it, I'll be looking forward to your next game. Well done. Don't let it get to your head and produce an identical clone...but, well done.

a super fun game. the graphics and music fit perfectly, its simple but it makes the game something special. @all - stop playing all these idle games for some time and give this game a chance, possibly you'll be as happy as I was when I finished this short and sweet game (which by the way would deserve way more plays then most of these idle games in my opinion). great work, i want more...

Despite this being rather easy and short, I couldn't give it less than 4. There is so much potential here! The art and atmosphere is beautiful, the writing is clear and humorous, the music fitting and the combat system very simple to use. I REALLY hope this gets expanded on, I can see a huge world fantasy epic in the making, here :) The potential for a great quest system and plot is also evident. Some inventory descriptions would also be nice. Best wishes for your future games, please don't leave this all on its own! ;)
