this was really fun! The kind of weirdness reminds me of Earthbound, especially some of the character sprites. That was decently hard for once!

OK, updated rating slightly higher now that I have found out how to do spells faster... maybe highlight how to spend gems in a tutorial? Also, more save places would help as respawn rates are ridiculously fast - I don't want to clear a screen, go up, and while dodging accidentally go down with the whole lot of them respawned already, not useful.

Ability to change difficulty would help. Those frogs - three hits? Seriously? How to hit that bird in the forest that won't stay off you? Also making your spells faster. I don't want to spend the time messing around while things hit me and I can't spell them. I have given this a low rating.

I've noticed a minor glitch where sometime the gems from killing foes orbit around you forever rather than going towards you - until you move.

at the beginning you instruct the player to turn left at the crossroads. left with respect to the character is east, but the guard tells you west.

Decent, fun game. What keeps it from being better than decent is that the keys and mouse kept locking in one direction, which is very annoying when you're trying to dodge projectiles in a small space.

At the scroll that starts "I managed to smash one of the frogs with my cane." Player is able to move from the right to below the scroll, but not back in the opposite direction for some reason, getting trapped in a cul-de-sac.

great game. easy 5 stars. It's not very often i wish for a game on this site to be made longer. I mean, with all due respect, i finished it in under 25 minutes.
really, i think this game has great potential. this could be like a youtubes advertised real freaking key game of 2017. i just think it needs a spit shine.

neat new rpg, does it need badges to be added - if so i could use some advice or example of attaching or connecting badges - from the forum or private message if known how do they add it, i found this frog fable fairly cool though anyhow

I found a gamebreaking glitch that I feel you should know about. I was grinding on the map before where you find the chef, and somehow I got hit pass the invisible wall on the bottom edge of the screen and couldn't get back. The only option was to go down which took me to an endless series of black screens, with a small multicoloured square thing in the top? Being here also reset all my upgraded stats. I was able to quit and reload my save though it was still a bit annoying to be trapped in a void.

Why did the wizard (with all the spells I assume he knows) teach me a spell that kills creatures by making them bigger? Especially in a forest where half the creatures gain power as they gain size, this seemed like possibly a bad idea

Amazing game! By the end of it, my hands were frantically steering me away from the bunny's cabbage and all the other deadly annoyances as my trigger finger let loose a barrage of bubbles, all the while my foot was tapping to the awesome music!

Great game, but I found a glitch at the end where the frame froze twards the top of all areas, so you could only see that one part. It happened at the boss fight when the camera went up to him. It made the game disappointingly unbeatable. But other then that it was great!

Never have I had a flash game frustrate me more with a problem I thought gone before...movement that would freeze, causing me to move in one direction until I double-tapped that input, sometimes not moving at all when I try to move diagonally, and even the attack button sometimes sticking!
Although, with a little cheating (Don't tell mom!) I beat the game, and I did like it.

if you're going to require movement and clicking, as well as using the keyboard, do everyone who uses a trackpad a favor and disable the right click menu

Jesus, when I died I thought I would have lost all my upgrades since my last save. Thankfully I just returned to the save point with all of them intact :) Mechanics are very polished. Great game!
