can we have... clicking bonus for basically everything ? Like, if click cats working picture it goes faster or I could restock faster with clicking. YES this would makes the game less of idle kind. But most of us will use auto clicker apps anyway when there's opportunity and I have reason to open this game more than 5 minutes per session.
Clicking bonus is a good idea! That can go on our polish list, but I dig it. We're also thinking when you activate a taiyaki boost for crafts/jobs it should make the animation run faster :D

Thank you for making this. I enjoyed the crush crush game but I did not enjoy the sexual undertones of it since anime girls skeev me out. I like cats much better so this is a great fit for me. Unless there are sexual undertones in this too because bestiality and furry fetishes skeev me out even more then anime girls.
Thanks! That's really awesome feedback, and I know the ecchi stuff isn't for everyone. With this game it's meant to be all ages good fun, and just a lot of cute fun :)

Cute game, but kind of creepy with the weird dating metaphor. Would be just fine if it was about befriending cats. Also, I don't care how great the cat is, no way I'm paying $63 for a taco.
lol those tacos! In this game you're playing as a cat, (the white marshmallow one you see in all the craft/job animations) so that should make the conceit cute not creepy ^^; The 'purrrfect date' game definitely took it down the creepy path which is not what we want to do.
That achievement isn't hooked up yet because we have yet to add the credits in :) It's a lower priority feature, since we want to add more main game features first.

That will be date could be a mini game for more heart.
Or choice just get the basic heart reward.
Knda missing something a story or something fun.
The current shining date animation is a little too basic.
not sure is 2 last are better.

need a manual save or something. i played for a good chunk of time, closed the window, opened it again a few hours later with the same computer/browser and lost all my progress from last session
The latest build we just pushed (v.078) should have cloud saving working so you can give that a try (there is also a manual save button in the settings popup)

This is like the best dating sim ever. With the exception of the treat store.. i'm SO bottlenecked on bread and doughnuts. Seems like a good time to nap since there's nothing left i can do, but if i nap, guess what? Still bottlenecked on bread.. The treat store either needs to refresh much faster or have upgrades avail to restock-speed and stockpile size or be able to convert unneeded items to wanted items. and to reiterate: Best Dating Sim Ever.
Eeee you're awesome! The store is still undergoing tweaks and we're considering a few options for it, since so many people are complaining about the scarcity system. Expect some changes soon!
IIRC you get it from kitties and leveling up your catsanova ranking. But I remember us talking about adding them to the gift baskets too so it's probably in there! hah ^^;;

To answer questions: sugar boost makes things run faster. Confirmed a 20 second snuggle date took 11 seconds with an 86% sugar boost.

A lot of the problem with your last game was that too much of the game devolved into waiting for long-ass timers to expire. Please adjust it. Treat shop restock is a huge bottleneck. My cat desires more than 4 truckloads of bread from the store? That's crazy.
I'll pass on your feedback to OjiPanda (game designer) he's still tweaking some balance things so this current game doesn't reflect the final balance at all.

Since this is still in Alpha, I'm rating it highly based on good bones (cute premise, art is nice, mechanics are understandable) with the hopes that balance issues will be addressed before 1.0 release. Right now taiyaki rewards are prohibitively small - it'd take me roughly ten resets to earn a new basket, and I've gotten all the easy achievements, which means my leveling has stalled out.
Thanks for the high rating! Yeah there are definitely some areas we're still testing and tweaking, trying to find the right balance and 'find the fun'. Your feedback is really helpful <3

might want to look into not allowing/giving a warning for making a cat inactive while they're on a date, it cancels the thing entirely and changes the stuff floating around them to white boxes until either sending them on another date or (hopefully) making them inactive again
That's a really great suggestion - things like that were on our 'final polish' list but if it's a pain right now then we can prioritize that one higher. No fun if it cancels a super long date >.<

Played. Enjoyed it. Had to leave for a while. Closed browser. Returned after a few hours later. Started game back up. Back at stage one. Clicked to play something else. Very disappointed.

''Similar in some ways but we've built this one from the ground up''. It's god damn identical to Crush Crush apart from the names and it being cats instead of girls.
Sorry that that sounded so market-y - I'll explain. The way Crush Crush was designed, it's actually difficult to add more and more characters due to the linear-nature of how they unlock and how the game's difficulty curve increases. What we wanted in the new game was to focus on expand-ability and collectibility, to allow us to add more characters easier, and make objectives more flexible. So stuff like - in CC, you can only date one girl at a time. In CK, you can date as many Kitties as you have Time Tokens. Instead of Hobbies being an experience level, they're a consumable resource that the player has to manage in CK (as Crafts). These changes are probably much too subtle to claim holistic differences between CK and CC, but from a balancing perspective that's what we meant. Anyway - either way we hope you enjoy it!

I know, that first things to get polished in the game will most likely be the mechanics, but if I may suggest something, in my opinion it would be a nice touch to be able to change backgrounds on the kitties screen. :3
yah!! We were actually thinking that it could either be a reward item to change your BG or get it as a 7 day login bonus during certain seasons like halloween, winter, etc :D

Shame, cute game, doesn't save and after spending well over a day playing before refreshing my browser, not keen to start all over.
Very sorry for the hiccup - we've just about completely finished revamping cloud-save. We appreciate your time, and hope you might give us one more chance.

What does Sugar Boost actually do? I don't remember being told at any point and the Nap Time details don't explain it either. Sugar Boost sounds great but it's hard to care when I don't understand it.
I agree, the tutorial and the info box on the Nap Time needs to be updated. I'll pester Oji Panda some more to get this in but basically the sugar boosts are like your reset boost currency. It's a pending boost so that whenever you do nap time it'll be that much faster (however many pending sugar boosts you have).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there any permanent upgrades to speed to make jobs and skills and dates, you know all the slow stuff faster, like in Crush Crush?
Not at the moment, but there are taiyaki boosts which will give you short bursts of progress. We haven't hooked up all the options yet but there will be multiple ways to make jobs/crafts go faster. Best way atm is to get your sugar boost up and do a nap.

The shop restock literally ruined the game, please reply when you get it fixed, I used 10 taiaky for restock and get 10 bread, waiting for restock for 3 hours, 0 bread... Why is this a thing? Why can't I restock etc bread from 0 to 50 for let's say 5 taiaky...
The amount it restocks each item is random every time. Oji Panda is taking a harder look at this whole restock functionality since it is a bit of a pain point for players, but it also keeps adding to it. So if you left the game to idle overnight then there could be 10 + 5 + 20 +15 bread the next day sorta thing. That's the idea at least.
The taiyaki boost-date feature is there as an option for people who don't want to wait for the dates - it just auto completes the one you're currently on. We'r looking at adding a feature similar to this that will auto-run all the dates, if you don't want to actively click the date buttons :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
also a nitpick worth bringing up beyond the store is that the cost that I would have to spend to auto-complete 1 level of a cat is easily 20 times that of what I get in Taiyaki, in that you only get 1 and could easily spend 20-50 taiyaki on a single level of a cat. The whole balance of taiyaki currently is laughable
That's not a nitpick, it's good feedback. The economy is a little strange before players start speeding up the game and earning larger amounts of Taiyaki more easily. But if it hits you too hard in the beginning, it needs a tweak or two.

for now, any cat that requires breadrolls is now a cat that is going to go without my attention untill this game becomes unplayble due to everyone needing breadrolls if I want to reset and level enough to unlock the gifts that require leveling certain cats enough
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why wouldnt the store reset during a soft reset when literally everything else does. I know there are already complaints about the balance of the cost of restock, but i'm taking this further and saying that having a ticking clock that unaffected by reset like would be normal and can be overcome by a currency that can be bought with kreds comes off as incredibly greedy
Great feedback! I'm considering revamping the balance on the store completely. As an explanation - the game is designed with more "idle" time in mind, but it sounds like many many players are enjoying playing the game super-actively. So I'll keep tweaking this - it's supposed to feel fun / strategic!
Okay - so this is how it works! You need Kitties in order to advance Catsanova levels. When you level up a Kitty, you get Taiyaki. You then spend that Taiyaki on Baskets (for Kitties). But sometimes you don't get Kitties - you get outfits! Doh! But once you have all the things, the Taiyaki baskets start to give you Cat Bells. Use Catbells on Catbell baskets for MORE Kitties. Eventually - get all the Kitties.
What I'm hoping is that you'll want to drop a few bucks in there to speed things up or get a few Kitties to help the whole process along. But the game is designed to be played for free - just with extra steps.
I hope that explains everything - best of luck!
Hmmm... Please email our support@sadpandastudios.com with the browser you're using and any other details, and we'll look into this. Sorry for the lame blue screen. :(

and also i mean like the speed boost for 5 Teriayaki is just not worth it XD so i thought mabye spamming click on the job would also increase the speed for those who dont idle to much

It would be great to have mouse-over-tool-tips for ressources and stuff.
Also sometimes I have the feeling that going on a date per repeat button doesn't cost me anything. I guess this is a bug?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bread roll respawning is too unforgiving to make this worth playing. But! It's alpha, and does look promising, so will be checking back.

"Remove load game/save game/watch credits/transfer save buttons from the Settings page." How to complete "Watch Credits!" achievement then?
People were getting confused by those buttons so we've removed them and the achievement will be taken out temporarily. Basically we just hadn't built those features yet (although it should auto-save) so they appeared as greyed out buttons.

Reminder that Crush Crush has a hard cap beyond which it is impossible to progress without spending money. I assume Catsanova is the same. Caveat ludio (player beware)
There's no cap in this unless the job/crafts count but those reset anyway when you do a nap time (soft reset). The difficulty curve comes with later levels and higher ranked kitties if you find any of those in the gift baskets.

I haven't even started playing, but you still get 5 stars for combining my two favorite things - incrementals, and cats.
Especially the cats.
Oh wow! Thank you ^^ We thought it was a funny idea and love the pigeon dating game 'hatoful boyfriend' and were like 'whyyyy isn't there a cat dating game?' haha

Like all my comments on this game so far, I bet this post won't be seen by the devs...(This is actually one of those bad comments you see saying I bet blank won't see/read this). Thanks for wasting your time on this comment. Have a beautiful life.
Hey there,
We definitely read the comments :) and although we don't have time to reply to every one of them I promise we're working to take your comments into account and improve the game. Thanks for trying out Kitty Catsanova!

When buying a treat and you don't have enough money, but you stay on the buying screen and you get enough money. The game doesnt sync the money until you exit and go back to buy it.

I think you should have it where you can hold down the button to buy mass amounts of treats or crafts. Or you could have where you can choose how many you want to buy?
Hey there - there should be a slider that allows you to select how many treats/crafts that you would like to give. Is this not working when you try?
