This is a great game for second year med students.
Of course, the MS2 audience is pretty niche... and unlike me they probably don't spend a lot of time playing flash games in lecture. ^ ^

1. most of my friends who smoke started between 12 and 16.
2. Most of the diseases you learn have nothing to do with what the classes are teaching. There should be more correlation

Considering this is made by a university, I feel kind of ashamed for them that I found a mistake in the first minute of playing.

I really encourage everyone to "play" this "game". It culturizes you to a very useful degree.
Study? Shhhht! You might loose players! :P

Ha ha, GERD (Heart burn) is actually really common in babies - mostly in premature babies. And yeah - the game's loosely based on Scrubs! I hadn't planned on that - it just happened. I even called my site "ScrubGames.com". Great show!

dr gray is like dr cox and the lawyer is like ted
great game though

PS: I think the current art they've done is great though but I'm no art critic. My problem wasn't their quality of art, just that they never had any time it seemed to work on this project =(.

Again, I'm not an artist - at all. And this being my first game, it was hard to attract artists on promises of "split earnings" and such. But now that version 1 is out, I'm hoping to find an artist who has more time to work on this. With my current artists, I had to beg, plead, and throw tantrums to even get these models made over 14 months. I promise new art and gameplay elements for version 2 (which I'll start after exams in May - sorry!).

this game is horrible. its not challenging, its mostly stuff i learned in grade ten science, and worst of all its the same thing over and over again (click "call new patient" click "diagnose patient" click on whatever disease he has and start again).

Nice concept, but it could have used some polishing prior to release. Would it really have been that hard to get a few more models?

4/5 Wonderful game. Can't wait for No2! I had to guess a bit in the beggining, you should make it a bit more interactive maybe. I hope the artwork is better too beacuse all the people look mostly the same. Overall fabulous concept, I bet the no2 will be 6/5! Added to favourites.

This game is amazing. Excellent Work. The game starts out slow and easy, and turns into a fun challenging thinking game, that actually involves using skills people use in our real world today. The information is accuarate. The only part i didnt like was the inspection, i wish you could find symptoms and such, from inspecting the body. Other then that graphics were pretty good. 5/5 =]

Okay - so I was just bemoaning the lack of cool, fun, educational games - and here it is!! Why more games don't take the approach that, hey, fun is fun, but learning stuff about stuff is fun, too, is beyond me. Really enjoying the amount of knowledge I'm actually building here, although I still want to try removing glass from someone's heart with a Wiimote ;"P I'm really looking forward to Medical School 2 and...that's it! 4 stars (I'm saving '5' for MS2)

also also, it does not seem to provide the tools to tell the difference between a heart attack and a pulmonary embolism at the med student level.

also the first part is incredibly easy. I expect it to get more difficult, but at this point I just glance at the file, see wheezing, month-based chest pain, or hour-based chest pain, and know the answer. you give multiple potential symptoms, why not at least use them all?
