The idea behind this game was probably better than the final game itself. A 61 year old woman comes into the clinic with "1 day history of fever" Is there any way she may survive this...? *irony* Gameplay is repetitive and random, at least the developer knows that it looks kinda wierd when there's no difference between a 71 year old and a 50 years younger person. MedSchool classes provide some interesting information although it's not really more motivating than reading a book about it. Conclusion: A game that was probably published too soon. Games like "Cell Craft" prove how cool an education game may look like just from the beginning. Maybe the next game really improves in some points so good luck with the sequel

A noble intention but worse than some of the worst 'education' games ever made. Broken sound, regular complete guessing required because you don't get enough information to uniquely identify conditions and of course unintelligent grind. Would not play again.

"2 month history of chest pain" and diagnosed with heart attack...what retard suffers two month's worth of heart attacks and lives? Better yet, why didn't they call the hospital the first time!?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how does someone with a heart attack have a 2 week history of chest pain?!?!? they would be dead by now!!!
lol good game though, 5/5

Its kinda funny how your patient is dying while you go study to find out whats wrong with them. The hospital sure has alot of ill trained doctors :D

Wow, you 'unlock' diseases, if you realy cared about the planet you would stop the game once you start. Fortunatley, my entertainment makes me still give it a 5/5

Not sure about some of the basic digestive stuff... digestion is performed by enzymes (which need an acidic environment) not the acid, and peptic ulcers have been proven to be caused by a strain of bacterium.

Game was a little fun, but is really lacking in every area but originality. Music, graphics, amount of content, and overall fun factor were just all bad and barely kept me interested for longer that 5 minutes before I realized i'm just pressing buttons for no reason.

I do feel that this game does what it aims to do very well; though it definitely wouldn't substitute the real thing, for some students I could see it as a helpful resource to help them get some grasp on what they're learning. I say that from a non-medical expertise though, I can see how the simplicity here could almost hurt as well. The problem comes up as it pertains to being a game though. Is it really all that much fun? For me not so much. There's a lot of simple grinding you have to do in order to get the simple lectures necessary in order to advance in the game, I can only imagine how long it takes to do everything available. I'd say it depends on the audience and the creator's intentions though; he might not want a game that's quick-paced or all that.. umm, exciting? Depending on what he had in mind this game either does very well or not so well, but that's my opinion of course.

Really like the game. I am almost a doctor and i find that it is quite realistic! For me there wasn't a lot of going forth and back, but i have a little advantage (i'd like to think so at least ;))

I got the medium badge when I started the game, but didn't even started playing. I got the easy badge by just clicking on some stuff. I have no idea where this game is about, but I got both badges.
@sage880: It is probably a bug, because when I typed my name, I immediately got the badge before playing the game

It would be good if you could choose what you want to learn. I suspect of asthma, but the only physical exam I can do is "general inspection" and "palpation of the limbs", when I need "auscultation of the lungs" and "inspection of the chest".
The lectures could be the same Cr, and after you choose one, the Cr for the others would increase.

Jim Garcia is a 44 year old male with a 3 hour history of chest pain. He denies any other symptoms. General inspection doesn't reveal any signs. ITS GUESSING TIME

Ms Gomez is a 0 year old female that presents with a 2 week history of Dyspnea
After questioning her, she has Cough... wtf??

Good game, 4/5 its very informational and interesting for those who like biology or people studying to be a doctor, it almost feels like you're House, patient has chest pain and you know exactly what's wrong with them. Just a thing you might want to add for the next game, when you go to look at the diseases and symptoms there should be the list of what's wrong with the patient for those with short term memory loss who have to go back and forth :P but anyway keep up the good work in the medical field of gaming :P

I hate people who comment bad things about this. This is not a racing or shooting game, this game is different than all other games. This is more an educational than it is exciting, thrilling or hard. This game is great, better than great. I just think it would have been better if this game didnt get badges. This game is not for the hardcore-gamers, who play on kong a lot for the badges. This game is for the real thinkers and people who want to know more about diseases, symptoms and diagnoses. I bet Greg will never read this, but oh well: Message to greg; please put badges on games which are not educational. I feel sorry for the developer that his rating got screwed by people who hated this game just because they played it for the badges. 5/5 from me though

call me shallow but i really do not want to play this game because it looks AWFUL. really. the graphics look like theyve been drawn on paint. badges... seriously!?
