Great game!
but I did find a glitch, it makes you possible to recruit the mercenary units in any province you want:
just select a province with a mercenary unit, select the special unit in the recruitment window
now you just have to close the window and go to any other province, once you open the recruitment window the special unit should still be selected thus trainable
Up this, so the dev can fix it
(or don't, if you wanna complete your game exploiting this glitch ;) )

The hero of the game is so random.If you can recuit a lv6 hero at the start,you can finish the game easily.And the German is too strong,they have a great land and biger land to conquer without fighting with the other.

Yeap. I conquered the entire map and yet had to wait for the VP countdown to end. Seriously? Who is counting when I've killed everyone. The secret gnome people of the underworld?

Very good game.
In my opinion, I think that it needs a second part and more units, I dont know maybe catapults? Or When defending a castle or a fortress?
With that you can make a lot of research threes and many other things
But for me deserves a 5/5 for strategy.
But please study a little more history yeah?

It's very simple: Research only money gains, and buy only basic foot soldiers. Since auto battle doesn't appear to care what types of units you use, the cheapest soldier is just as useful in auto battle as the most expensive. Only buy varied units if you plan on manual battling.

thoroughly enjoyable. scratches my strategy itch. I agree about the lanes-of-combat format starting to wear thin -- it wasn't horrible, but felt a little jarring pace-wise, from slow considered decisions to rapid-reflex key mashing. I would love to see something a little different for combat in future (I hope!) sequels.

looks good, i like the rendered gfx. lots of interesting units. but i would like to see another form of battle than this overused "place your unit one a lane system". it demands fast reactions and does not provide enough room for decent tactical decisions. why not make a nice battelfield to command the units in formation, instead of letting them run with tunnel vision into the enemies. furthermore autobattle is completely dissatisfying, would be good to see some form of calculation or simulated battle. this game has potential, but so far 2/5, sorry

Loading a game doesn't return you to your previous save, but it resets all your research (If it matters: played germans, tried to load after testing the horrible autobattle). I'm not sure if this is just a ridiculous bug or if the dev is trolling us :P

At manual battle with 3 generals i beat 20 mans. At auto-battle with 3 generals and 10 swordsman i cannot beat 20 men (the same type of units)

You can fully research everything if you get all your army in a bottleneck area and keep clicking "End Turn", only fighting defensively :)

I think the English need to have a better start. It is nigh impossible to advance very far with them after getting to France.

Should let you be able to conquer all of europe instead of conquering a bit of it and winning. Would allow you to fully research everything also.
