Not sure about some of the complaints, I ascended within the first two days - and I didn't play non stop or something. I did use my crystals though to get more energy and then bought cheap purchases like larva swarms. Now I've got 2 days game time in the first ascend and looks like by tomorrow I'll be able to make my second ascension with even less time in actual game play time.

i would take 11 days, but. you can get lepidoptera, it can easily boost your production by 50%, and when you get back to the game, you can get a 2x boost, including energy

not really, the more time pass, the more mutagen you get, and there is no point to ascend if you don't have more mutagen than before ( for future ascension ) so it's not rocket fuel idle.

the fact that the nests particles follows it around when you rotate really bugs me (see what i did there)
please make the particles their own object, or just let them stay at their world space positions when you rotate.
otherwise great game :D I'm having a great time replaying it!

The swarm invasion mechanic doesn't make sense in an idle game. You have to click on an invader roughly every 10 seconds, which means half an hour of constant attention is required to defeat an enemy swarm. You can't afk during that, because the loss of energy from a steal is a huge penalty. While you can close the game and come back later, you still effectively have to spend half an hour paying total attention to this idle game. Maybe you could change it so our army fights theirs?

it realy doesn't help when you get a 20% chance to gain 130k mutagen. And after 51 hatchery upgrades, and 95 expansions, i have a total of 113k mutagen for my next assention....
all around fun game, but it took way to long for my first assension, and even longer for my second to come up for very little return.

so fast paced at first, then it sloooooows down so much. when? when will i ever have enough fuel to leave this bug infested planet behind me?

If you click to read the EULA, there doesn't appear to be any way to get back to the game without refreshing the page.

I played the original...and I prefer this version to be honest. the graphics are also really good! so don't change them please ;-;
Please contact Kongregate about this - the way the code works I have to trust them if they say ads are available which is what's happening (incorrectly) in this case!

Aside from my praise, I would also suggest two features from the original:
Overview screen(s) where you can buy multiple of each creature in its category (advanced view options on original)
Disabling of upgrade notifications - I ignore twins during the early game, would be nice if the notifications for specific upgrades could be turned off

need a way to get more base energy regen, otherwise non-paying players cannot get higher than certain ammount below 1/s, and it's horrible. No mutations for this/no crystal upgrades nothing to increase it.

For some reason this just works better as a text game. Swarm Sim always been one of my fav idle games (one of few I actually liked) but it feels like this graphical interface doesn't really add anything, and instead takes away from the game in different ways, such as less oversight over things. It also feels like things are less clear = more confusing.

Okay so biggest critique: The triple loot articles always display pictures of kittens yet the articles are never actually about kittens. I feel like you keep lying to me.

This does nothing but nerf things in swarm simulator, add bad graphics and music, then asks you to pay to go at the same rate as the old game. No new spells, no new mutations, and a terrible new mini game that is an annoying chore.
