I think it would be really cool if the eyes on our swarm's minions followed our cursors on screen, and wandered if we went off screen.

is it a waste of energy to make nightbugs to try and speed up your first ascension? And why does it have to only give 1 fuel per ability use?

how do i get the cloud load window to pop up again when playing in a different computer? i accidently clicked elsewhere while it opened and it closed

Wow, never was pissed so much at a game. It tells you you can ascent at 40 Hatcheries, and when you reach it, then it tells you you need 3 to 5 more days of senselessly using spells to create "rocket fuel" gained trough using 50 to 100 spells. As far as i know there is no way to gain that fuel earlier. Only reason for this "mechanic" is to force you to use more crystals. Seemed a nice game but leaves a really sour taste.

Cloud loading is currently a pain as it does not always trigger. Causing you to have to refresh often and wait for it to pop up eventually. A button to cloud save and load in the options would be amazing here.

Upgraded entomologist, realized that it isnt actually hatching more bugs, its just breaking my purchase into 2 numbers. spawn 89 hive queens? no, just 81 and 8 queens! is this a glitch?

You took a all-but-free all-text web game and turned it into an ad-supported pay-to-win graphics laden monster, with hundreds of gameplay downgrades. This would be fine on mobile (and I understand this essentially is the same as the mobile version you put out). On the web it's crap.

Just a thought, but I think it would be more intuitive to have 'Hatch' on the left, because it uses up resources to the left of the current one in the list, 'Faster' in the middle because it uses up the current resource, and 'Twins' on the right because it uses up resources to the right of the current one.

"There are a bunch of things in this version that buffed progress vs. the original (Elixirs, Gold Bugs, Shards) ... the base Energy/s change was to offset some of that!" i could ascend on the original within a day, this one im on day 3. you made the freetoplay progression 5x longer and, added cashshop items. i wouldn't say this is an improvement, for this reason i refuse to spend a cent on this game.

@skyesfury the Hatch amount counts the bonus units in the final count. This can be easily confirmed by putting in, say, 1600 as your buy amount and looking at your costs.

If I purchase 1e7 units and I'm supposed to 60% more, then Entomologist is not working right if I'm only getting 1e7 units. If the displayed units I'm purchasing is what I'm getting with Entomologist factored in, then it's not conveying that information properly.
Regardless, I'm not gonna stop playing. I was addicted to the original Swarm Sim and now that it has actual visuals I'm hooked all over again. Hopefully ScaryBee will find a way to display more info as time goes on, but even if not I'll still be here. Though I would love for this to be on Steam. I don't usually buy games like this on Steam, but this is one I definitely would.

Entomologist is working right. You got 1e7 units, which is the 6.8e6 that you actually bought, plus 3.8e6 freebies. It's not tossed on as additional units as a feature to make your purchases more exact for your strategy, if it requires precision.

Is the Entomologist buff not working the way it says? I'm up to 60% more, but when I tested this by buying 1e7 units, it showed that I bought ~6.8e6 and ~3.8e6 units. I don't think it's actually giving the bonus or am I not understanding what it does?

Inferior to original. Yes graphics are cool but you have to click already too much in a pure skinner box to do same thing as original. I read developer responding it makes the game play its self and QoL is not worth but that is the whole point in an idle game is to get to the game playing itselfs phase, idle games do have a shelf life...

QoL from the original that would be good to see return: Ignoring specific upgrades. It quickly isn't worthwhile to get Twins on Drones, but being notified on faster is still helpful. Same issue with other units going forward.

First off, great game! What i would like to see is that the custom number would take commas, which it doesnt atm :(
Also im pretty sure there is a memory leak somewhere in this game because when im running the game in an extended period of time the fps of the game drops immensly and lags like hell, but when i the refresh the website and its reloaded its all good.
Looking forward to updates! <3

Pretty solid idle game, but after playing for about a week I have to say it is far too slow a start. In my humble opinion it's because twinning is broken as a concept. As soon as the next bug stage is viable that upgrade no longer has merit (unless I misunderstand it) - so you basically turn off the notification and move on. So love the game design and the various stages of bugs etc, but with the way upgrading stands it doesn't feel like something that will hold interest very long.

Edit: the game loaded when I changed the cookie settings to a more relaxed policy, to "allow third party cookies". Sorry for the previous comment.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game was loaded and running in the Mozilla Firefox browser. I cleared the cache and the cookies, and continued running the game for half an hour. Then I closed the browser. Now when I try to load it is asks me about the license agreement and then stops at "Checking game save".

would be nice if, when using mutagen, if it said how much is needed before capping it. Like Mutating Lepidoptera only takes 400k before capping at 2x. Put in 56 Qi and still didn't get more then 2x

Have you considered adding a highscore board to this game? it'd be fun to compare your stats with other people's stats.
There's a leaderboard for various things (in the menu top left) ... the reason I'm not using the kongregate ones is because the numbers get larger than it's possible to store in them so I'd be limited to things that don't get to ridiculous numbers ... and where's the fun in that? :)

I get that mistake every time, then game crash : "The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."

I keep having my local version be very far behind the cloud, sometimes by mistake I tell the game to keep the local one and lose progress.

in the mutagen section, you can choose upgrade, like incrase meat production, larvae production, swarmwarp power... also, unused mutagen boost larvae production, so don't spend everything ^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I ascended, but nothing is progressing any faster than the first run. Was I supposed to get some bonus with the mutagen?

I rate it 5 stars because high quality of graphic is the legendary weapon of stealing money, attention, also rating. And after all, People just find out AFK will make them get no money, and feel jealous about you are going to earn money lol.
