Never gets repetitive, is just long enough, and has great graphics. Never would have guessed the twist, either. Great game, 5/5

I like it, its fun but it should have achievements, like waering one of every accessory(fashion), beating the game(The stork is a lie!)and playing atleast five levels with each salamander(identity crisis).

It's been what seems like ages since I saw a platformer that I've loved so much as this. I wholeheartedly commend you!

@199DeaD991 and @sikness4 I'm about to blow your minds. A party where salamanders jump on balls, fight storks, and it has customizable 8-bit music! Do you know what that is? Do you? Didn't think so. Well I'll tell you. It's a recipe for the BEST GAME EVER! Pixelotl 2, anyone?

New fangled gravity nonsense. Back in my day, it was italian plumbers fighting turtles instead of salamanders fighting storks, and the plumber in question could only throw fireballs and grow bigger!

Orange pixelotl: Whats taking him so long?!
Pink pixelotl: Oh he fell through the mist onto a heap of deadly red spikes.
Orange pixelotl: What?! I had no idea having a party inside a live volcano could be so dangerous...

I saw that ending coming, but it was still worth it. And someone please tell me the pixelotls are not drinking alcohol at that party.

Reading the instructions: Arrow Keys- Move (Okay, that makes sense) Up-Jump (I love games that use that) Space-Gravity Field (WTF?!?!?!?!)

This game is an impressive display of good game design. It introduces new mechanics, at a decent speed, allows those mechanics to come into play in the later levels as well, and the levels are short, sweet, and death is a small obstacle. It was thoroughly enjoyable. 5/5

"Do you like pixelotl?" asked the beautiful young lady with the golden monkey.
"Yeah!"
"As it happens,I've got more pixelotl then i can have myself. Will you come and help me have it?

Ok, so... I risked my life to save friends that went to the deepest & most dangerous places to save them... just for a party? The could've played hide&seek you know? It's almost the same
But... I'm still wondering... how do they tied up themselves...

Not bad, not bad at all. A great way to kill some time, and there were some innovative levels. Mind, it did seem a bit short and fairly simply to me once you got the hang of all the concepts, but every game must end at some point. :]
