Meh. He walks so slowly that the game's a real drag. And I was supposed to work out on my own that I should just wait for about 50 years after giving wheat to the villagers so they'd eventually get off their asses and build me a bridge? Not exactly intuitive in a game where the player has a definite time limit, so waiting and hoping seems like a really bad idea. (Except that it turns out you have about three times as much time as you actually need...)

Don't worry if you waste time, there's PLENTY. I wasted like 300 years before I realized they had built a bridge for me, and I still completed it with time to spare.

Holy shit, what a beautiful game. This is a great blend of art and retro graphics, especially with all the effects you've used. I was listening to my own music, but it all went together very nicely. I'd love to see something more adventurous from you in the future, possibly incorporating more elements of gameplay in with a similar story. 5/5, looking forward to more of your work.

uuuuuh.... yeah. Blocking lova in a volcano is probably the dumbest thing to do. instead, drill a hole and let the pressure run free; probably even creating new land in the process.

I can imagine the villagers reaction to some of the stuff I would do as the tiki in this game. "For some reason that Easter Island looking guy over there comes to life every fifty years, calls himself the Beer God and yells at people for cutting down his 'good climbin' trees'. Then it drinks until it passes out for another fifty years."

@Sandman1196 Or vanishes into the lake and then re-appears a hundred or so years later. On the other side. In a fishing net.

While it's great to come up with a new feature (waiting to change seasons) to make your game unique, the novelty isn't really appreciated when it makes what would be a slow and boring game slower and even more boring.

After you plant the final tree before the end, wait for it to grow, then head back to the village and grab a second acorn (in autumn.) Walk right, past the end, plant it and continue on wards for a little secret.

Great atmosphere. Two things bug me though: first, the guy walks painstakingly slow; second, the game is very short, I finished it well under 200 years. Please, give us more! :)

"Over time, however, the rocky creature blocking the magma deep underground within the volcano led to a massive buildup of pressure, changing what would have been a simple overflow eruption which would give fertile new soil into a massive explosion that could be heard around the world. Such was the fate of the people of Krakatoa."
In all seriousness, I think this is the best puzzle game I've played in a long time.

So let me guess this straight, Moai statues are found in the core of volcano and are being used as a plughole cover to avert an active volcano disaster, Genius~

Maybe the worst game i've ever played. It just told me to wait, i waited, the world ends. MY 15 minutes have been taken.

The game over says "the world has burned to ashes", but if you haven't finished the game before, you don't know it's because a volcano.
