Great Game. I did it with 173 years left. Now I need to see how fast I can do it then see what the buildings evolve to if I do it slowly.

Absolutely beautiful. Slow-paced but at the same time one of the most moving games I've ever played. This is what makes me believe that there is still hope for humanity. When people build games and stories like this, it makes me happy.

Very slow paced, but obviously that's the point. Interesting premise, but not at all challenging - I had 257 years left.

When it first told me I had to wait, I was waiting under the water, expecting the land below me to rise up or something :/ Many years passed before I noticed the frozen water

Actually, he just destroyed much more, eventually the the pressure builds high enough that, if he held together, would just blow the whole top of it off.

Blocking the lava increased the volcano's internal pressure artificially leading to the 2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull.

Very nicely done. On my second playthrough, after checking out the easter egg, I considered just waiting until the 400 years ran out to see what would happen. Then I decided I didn't want to know, and sacrificed myself again anyway.

That was sad. Everybody fears you even though you're the founder of their civilization and have only ever been benevolent, then you go and sacrifice yourself to save everybody. They probably won't even remember you and they definitely don't know all that you did.

Not sure if no one noticed the easter egg at the right end of the volcano, there's a grave of a traveler who had passed one.... Thought I could escape the inevitable =/

At 1st I gave this game 3 stars because of the slow pace. But after the ending which made me almost cry, I gave it a 5 stars and favorited it.

Like most everyone else I was initially frustrated at the pace of this game. I have to say though now that I've completed it that the pace is what makes it so great. This game is an absolutely valuable lesson in patience. The puzzles make you think without being too hard and the story is interesting. I get the feeling that without this golem humanity would have never made it. He was there to feed us in our infancy and he was there to stop the calamity so that we could survive until today. Brilliant! Frustrating but brilliant!

2 stars - can't figure how to cross river with Chestnut, and chestnuts don't die in 3 months - I've got one that's 10 years old and would probably still sprout. Game is too slow also.

Neat easter egg at the very end. Take a chestnut past the volcano and plant it then go up to see this special message on a tombstone. "Here lies a traveller between worlds whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place."
