To get Governor, do what you'd normally do to survive BUT Do not give painkillers to the guy. Do dig a hole then shoot the 2 survivors. In the leg it should say. Dont put spikes in it. Kill the infected guy. The hole will stop 45 undead, but the shooting attracts 10 more, so all u have to do is hold off 15 zombies with the rest of your defenses. Hope it helps

Achievements seem to be bugged. Just shot both survivors at the end and got no Governor for it >_> still 4/5 good game

you can obtain the governor and the merciful at the same time it looks so wrong, but it fells good for finishing the badge

To get "The governor", use a loaded gun on your recruited allies while standing by the empty pit; you'll shoot them in the legs and shove them in to serve as (quite effective) monster bait.

To get Lone wolf ensure you complete the following (not in this order, be mindful of how many times you travel around. There is barely enough to get all this done):
Find all four bullets and load them -Have the ax -Brick the window -Repair the fence -Use the generator on the fence -Close and lock the door -Kill Bill with the ax -Hide in the basement -Close the Latch

To get Lone Wolf, ensure you do the following before the day is over:
Repairs the fence
Powers the generator and connect it to the fence
Brick up the window
Kill bill with the ax
Close and lock the door
Hide in the basement area
Close the hatch
Ensure you have and load 4 bullets
Have the ax

So...giving your friend alcohol and painkillers and then not killing him after he turns into a zombie isn't making sure he "passes away calmly"?

*WARNING SPOILER ALERT* if you need help with the cart use the coin from the cash register at the gas station you can find a bullet and a wire cutter to the left of the base building which you can use to break the lock silently the axe breaks open the door in the gas station where you can find a hose and bullet to syphon gas what you use it for is your choice the rest you should be able to find and to get the merciful you have to kill bill peacefully to get the savior survive to get the shadow don't fire a single bullet i'm still trying to figure out how to get the govenor and lone wolf but hopefully this helps anyone who is stuck

why people think that this game hard badge should be impossible? impossible badges are for games that you cant easily just follow step by step walkthrough to finish the game. This is not impossible...

Finally, after 19 tries i did...To get shadow:Take the objects on your base,go to church and take the axe(to open the station door), go to the station and take all object of there, now go to shop and take the objects(without kill the dat zombie,yet) and take the photo in the wall,go the crash site and use rubber hose to get fuel and use it on the red car, come back to the church and give him the photo take the another objects(the car can carry heavy things), go to base and give to bill the pills, mix the water and sand to can brick up the window(not yet), now dig a hole, and now go to shop, kill the zombie with the shovel, give him the glasses,go to crash site and cut the trees and come back to the base and now repair the fence gate, put the pointed stick in the hole, lock the door(with key of course), brick up the window and hide and kill bill with the axe(if u want give him the bottle of alcohol) and past time and win... i know i am terrible human being...

I'm trying to get all the endings without a walkthrough but I can't get the lone wolf (one zombie away though rawr) and the merciful.

It may be just a point and click game, but I had the most difficult time getting the Governor and Lone Wolf achievements because of the killing I had to do. :-/ Jeremy looks panicked and says, "Why are you pointing that thing at me?!" Just kidding Jeremy, you can stay alive! I'm so sorry!

The thingz u need : a fixed gate(wire),axe,gun with 3 bulletz,2 zurvivorz,a blocked window covered with the brickz,the clozed door.
