I've played it four times and am confused by a few things.... is there a way to save your friend who's bitten? What's the point of the coin? Who in their right mind would use their gas on the electric fence? And why can't I just drive away from this crap?

You find the spare wire fence at the top right corner of the shop you meet Jeremy at. You can pick it up if you have the red car from the crash site, a coin from the cash register at the gas station, or metal cutters from your base.

reply to Indecicity:The wire can be found right next to the market. First you need to use the coin on the shopping cart. Then use it to retrieve the wire.

figured out everything but how to kill the hole zombie without the gun? not that it matters.. got the savior ending, and governor ending already.

yeah, @sephiroth. Do you think I didn't play the game? Use the shovel to kill the zombie (after digging the trench and mixing the mortar). And I also know how to set up the generator, as I have already done it many times before. I never said that you need the car. Even though it can be a good strategy if used early on in the game, what I said is get as many survivors as possible before bricking up the window, or digging the trench, or fixing the fence, or whatever else you think you need to do.

Actually, arachnidjds, you NEED to kill one zombie, in order to get the glass to recruit glass guy. but that it, only one shot is needed. Also, if you know the exact location of each item you need, you DON'T need the car, and can use the fuel to get a extra defence at the house. I won't tell how.

Survival tip: get all survivors that you can before doing the trap, or bricking up the window, or whatever else you do. Also, don't use the gun to kill anything. Not worth it at all.

Phew... Finally survived. Both my friends died, one by my hand, but I survived. Almost tempted to end the game here... Almost.

Absolutely amazing... nice art style, cool creepy music, and the puzzles were intuitive enough to not be hard... also all the achievements grant this game replayability(still didn't managed to get the governor even though I shot both of the survivors and killed bill with an axe)... and the way they are integrated in the game is very subtle yet rewarding... a clear improvement from the first game. 6) go to the crash site, take the gun, use rubber hose an canister on the police's car, cut some wood with your axe. 7) back to your base, use painkiller on bob, repair the gate with wire fence, use wires on the generator, use canister on the generator, and click to activate te electricity, make a trap with your wood in front of the door. 8) close the door with the key, use water and cement on sand, mix with your axe then use bricks on te windows. 9) Give alcohol to bob and shoot him, cut the padlock with your metal cutter, go down, close the hatch and wait.
To get "the shadow", simply kill bob with your axe instead of a bullet.
To get "the governor", kill bob, shoot father bernard, and shoot jeremy, then go to hide on the hatch.

How to get "The merciful" and "The savior" : 1) take shovel, metal cutter, key, bullet and wires at your base. 2) go to the church and take the axe. 3) Go to the gas station, take canister, batterie, water, coin, painkiller, and rubber hose. 4) Go to the market, take alcohol, camera, kill the zombie with your shovel, take glasses, give it to jeremy, combine batterie and camera then take a picture of the wall, use the coin on shopping cart, and use it to take wire fence. 5) return to the church and show the picture to father Bernard, take brick and cement with your shopping cart.

Steps 1-4 to get Lone Wolf in first comment. 5.) Go to the crash site and get the gun. Use the hose and canister on the police car. 6.) Go to the church and get the bricks and cement with the shopping cart. 7.) Return to the base, repair the fence with the fence in your inventory, use the wires and cannister on the generator and turn it on. Close the door, lock it with the key, put cement and water to the sand and mix it with your shovel. Use bricks on the window, kill Bill with the axe. Open the hatch with the metal cutter, go inside, close the hatch. Load all 4 bullets into the gun and click on the clock to wait for the undead. 8.) If you didn't give painkillers to Bill somewhere along the way you should now have the achievement.

To get Lone Wolf, you have to follow a strict plan: 1.) You can pick up all items in your base (shovel, metal cutter, one bullet, wires, key), but you can also do it in step 7. 2.) Go to the church and get the axe. You can pick up the bullet too, but you can also wait until step 6. 3.) Go to the gas station and pick up the water bottle, canister and bullet. Break the door with your axe and pick up another bullet and the hose. You don't need painkillers or batteries, but make sure to get the coin if you have no metal cutter yet. 4.) Go to the shop and pick up the cart by using the metal cutter or coin. Get the fence with your cart. You don't need the camera or alcohol. Steps 5-8 in second comment.

ONly oneI can't make it is Lone Wolf. No time to dig hole or sth so I have only blocked window, locked doors, electric fence, hide in cellar and 3 bullets.

So, I need some way to get the gas from the police car. Oh, look, there's a hose on the gas pump. Uses axe on it.....nope.
