Like this one better than "a small talk..." the premise works in this one.
Only real complaint is how obscure and hard to see some elements are, and had that same problem with the other game. I know it's probably intentional but maybe work on making things obscure by function instead of impossible to see.
Definitely lots of skill here and good imagination. I give it 4 stars.

@TheNumberNine, where is the fun if someone gives all the answers?? Can't believe 460 people thought that was the right thing to do.

I see why the root was added: On the page thats with the page that says about the full moon (a part of the page is showing behind it) the witch gives the man a riddle about the potion which is "something that grows in the ground but is not a plant". Roots and mushrooms both grow in the ground and aren't plants (roots are part of plants). So that was just there to trick you into ruining the entire potion.

Impossible to beat without a walkthrough - red herrings and the very precise click to find things, even with a detailed explanation of how to get things done.

No fun at all to work for non-obvious goals and not have a way to back up without having to replay entirely. Nice atmosphere and clever twist on escape theme, but weak interface (very hard to see some things) and "do-over" execution.

@Evi1M4chine, there is no indication for the hidden floor-board and the recipe is pretty hard to see. No-one wants to get his meal on the methaphorical silver plate here, it's just hard to cook it in complete darkness.

Excellent Game!
Just Awesome! May i question... what is the title song from the main menu?
Sounds Just Great!

THIS IS A SPOILER.
The recipie is in a surprisingly obvious place, and it took me a while to find it: Read the journal page on the table next to the fireplace, and click the page behind it.

@drkillme: The root served no purpose? Waaah! I actually had to look around a bit. Double-Waaahh! Why I must use brain? Head hurt! No make use brain! drkillme angry! Waaahh!” … Wat? … That is a *good* thing! … Maybe you should go back to Call of Duty, or some other crap that basically plays itself or where you just blindly follow instructions like a robot. … Because you’d hate every cool adventure game in history. You'd probably not get though five minutes of Zak McKraken or Indiana Jones 3 because it didn’t tell you what to do in every minute detail and half the found items were useless.

That hut must have belonged to another werewolf. The things available in it *very* conveniently matched the requirements of the average werewolf... or do they want to be called “lupus-enabled people” now? ;)

killrhawk, all the meaning in this game is that you are THE werefolf but you know it and don't want to murder anyone so you try not to escape from room.

I'm sorry man, I love the game, but THE werewolf bugged me every time. Unless werewolf is his actual name, you've gotta throw a "the" in front of it.

Really? Cause I saw there was a second page the first time I picked up the note. So, if you're a very high IQ, am I like a friggin genius or something?

Boarded up and nailed the windows, but apparently the werewolf managed to escape because it wasn't locked. How does that work...? I realize now how to lock the window, but still!

Just wanted to say that the place where the recipe for the potion IS NOT OBVIOUS AT ALL. I had to read that it was "behind the note to self" and then look, and look again, and look a third time before I realized there was another page to the note.
Definitely NOT OBVIOUS, as I played about 5 times before realizing that there WAS a recipe and looking at a walkthrough, and then when knowing EXACTLY where to look for it, still couldn't find it (this is coming from a very high IQ person, so the problem isn't that I'm stupid or unobservant).

wow the recipe for the potion was in a obvious can't believe i missed it ti'll my 3rd try but at least i i finally stopped the wolf

Pixelated games are the best! And you make good games that are pixelated! That's the awesome combo, keep up the good work, man!

SPOILER
The potion recipe is in the journal. Respectfully, dev, I believe you should have the icon change or something so that people can find it instead of clicking blindly.
