The witch's note states the potion recipe and that it will wear off very quickly. So you want to make sure you take the potion as a werewolf. Werewolves like meat so you put the potion on the meat to make sure the beast ingests it.

How Are Do You Figure Out That You're Supposed To Put The Potion On The Meat And The Meat On The Hook? It Seems Very Unintuitive, Neither Of Those Even Occurred To Me Before I Looked In The Comments For It.

The potion:Spice from cellar, Herb from hook and Mushroom is in the bottom right corner outside of the cabin.
Key to the door is in the coat.
block it with the shelf.
Cut the table with axe and use the planks and the hammer with nails on "locked" window.
Use potion on meat and hang it on hook.

definitely took some effort. the extra bits were annoying and finding the perfect place for the meat was trial and error but it worked. got the badge!

Interesting concept but the correct potion is simply a "guess"? Just keep fiddling with it until you get it right? If so, that's a 0/5. And the "meat"? Multiple people have referenced meat, I don't see it. Pretty brutally dark and pixel-huntery already. Good concept, fine execution, brutal strategy. 2/5

If the meat is still in your inventory when you wait for night, you ignore it completely when you turn into a werewolf...?

Only thing I would change is melting the key in the fire or something so I don't have it when I transform...I think I could probably figure out how to use a key as a werewolf, right?

Finally after so many years, I remember all the hidden objects under the bed, roof, floorboard, the fence mushroom and all... 100% in the first session this year, with time left, hooray!

After about 10 tries, I finally did it. I had no idea of the little lock on the window you first close where you hammer the planks of wood onto.

That's weird, I blocked the windows with the planks and nails, but still the game tells me that the windows was open and that the werewolf didn't have any trouble opening it...
