Not good. Hot spots are too specific.
SPOILERS
I clicked on the chain, bed & jourbal to no avail. I got it to work after knowing the specifics. The root is a red herring. Also, why can’t you eat the meat in your possession?!? Why do you have to hang it up?!? On top of all this, the ending is disappointing.

Not good. Hot spots are too specific. I clicked on the chain and the bed and got nothing until I watched the video....

I love these little short adventure games. One objective, but no clear ways to get it done - explore, dig things up, see how well you can restrain yourself. This was a nice one.

frustrating, the root isn't used and the potion has to be put ON the meat. Everything else was easy but I had to read the comments to figure out putting the potion ON the meat. Oh well.

The chest key, I could understand, but the trapdoor? The art style/static overlay was so gritty I couldn't make it out against the floor at all for the longest time. Plus, there's no light source such as a door or window on that side of the hut. When I finally gave up, scrolled down here, and read the comments, my first reaction was "are you ****ing kidding me?! There's a trapdoor?!". Nuff said.

Walkthrough:
Go out side; get Axe, Mushroom, Logs & Chain (chain under roof)
Go in; close Door; get Rope; turn left; Chop up Table with Axe
Get Herb & Planks; turn left; Get Keys from under Bed & Coat;
Get Tinderbox from 3rd Drawer; close & Latch Window; turn right
Open Chest with small Key; get Hammer & Nails; turn left; Nail Planks over window; turn left; open Trapdoor; get Spice & Meat; go back;
get Bottle; place Logs in Fireplace & light with Tinderbox; place shroom,
Herb & Spice in Kettle; put Potion in Bottle; pour Potion on Meat;
turn right; turn right again; hang Meat on hook; turn right;
lock Door with Large Key; push Bookcase in front of Door;
tie Urself with Chain; tie Urself with Rope; wait til Morning
+1 so others can see it!

The placement of the trapdoor and chest key was ridiculous, and you could also barely see that the journal has 2 pages. Although it says what belongs in the potion, the root thing was pretty dastardly. Other than that, i liked how you could find most solutions with common sense. I still wonder how he was supposed to do that rope and chain thing, though. A real reverse houdini.

For the next one, remember that people won't always try to 'win'.
By taking shortcuts on your endgame script you have dragged down an otherwise really nice game. Why am i trying to get out of a hut i went to sleep outside of?
I personally had no trouble with the potion riddle or thinking to look in dark spaces and at odd floorboards, then again maybe i'm just in the habit of scrutinizing everything. I guess some people don't realize the journal has more than one page...

Lol, you wait outside, and it says, "The werewolf sniffs around the hut. The door wasn't locked." Omg, I'M OUTSIDE GENIUS!

when you forgot one piece of the potion, can you please be able to pour it back into the pot and add the last thing? its annoying if you have to replay the whole game just because of one misclick

I've never seen an "escape" game with the goal being to lock yourself in. I've also never seen an "escape" game with decoy items. I would say, though, that I thought some things were too well hidden. Still, I suppose it's just me being a noob. Either way, it was an interesting take on the genre.

!!!!! What a surprising P&C game ! First time I like one :) Nice concept, ambiance, and it's short to play and finish. Perfect :)

this is a fun and unique game where you are trying to lock yourself up instead of break out. Sadly the game is a little short but it makes up for that by being challenging. Also depending on how well you did at restraining yourself there are different out comes for the story.

So basically, you can not actually prevent yourself from escaping. Even in a successful game the werewolf gets out in the end.
