Freshman Trustworthy Master of Archeology. That is one hell of a title. Surprised it worked out so well for me the first time through. End of day 13 used all the remaining money on character level ups and the person I was only using for charisma got up to 5 star strength giving me enough power to completely clear the last 3 spots to finish up all 4 sites.

http://postimg.org/image/47ri0anvl/ 8 days, I don't think it's possible to do in 7. As I said in my previous post, the most important stat by far is strength, and your entire team should have 5 strength each. With upgrades that'll let you excavate+explore 22 tiles a day.

Very fun game. Reminds me of the dinosaurs you buy in the store and have to 'dig' them out and clean them off. Was a blast. 5/5

Complete in 9 days, nearly in 8: http://postimg.org/image/4wjltdmvz/ Here's what you need: one 5 str/4 char, one 5 str/3+ (ideally 4) perc, one 4 str/5 perc, and one 4 str/5 int (though 5 str/4 int is OK). Strength is hugely important because someone with 5 str has 80% more AP than someone with 1.

Would love to know what the pieced together fragments look like. VERY COOL that you are actually following a 'live/real' dig with this game.

(has digged everytile with a "0") what do i do now? (missclicks and finds out you can dig deeper) (throws computer out the window)

Tips: strength is incredibly important, as it determines how many total AP a person has. For your 4 people, have 2 guys with max strength, 1 guy with max perception, and 1 guy with max intelligence and 4 charisma. Your goal is to get dig's cost to 2 AP and examine's to 1 AP asap. You can beat the game in 10 days, though I think 9 is possible.

This is a nice game to play, and it makes you want something more. some ideas for sequel: ability to unlock more maps with same team through various means; a background story (archeology dept. is not receiving any students/funds, seek to revive by excavating); global update (university/museum) to have perks, lower upgrade/training cost, have number of free upgrades at start, etc; introduce individual's "interest" level, which could influence chance of team member staying in a team, chance to attract thieves/illegal selling of finds, etc.; ability to retire team members to universities/press/gov't as professors/writers/politicians, which influence different things like the type of skills new team members would have, press contacts, passive increase of things, and gov't funding/research/permit to excavate, etc.; a final goal: arch. dept. receives recognition; number of sites done; global interest in arch., etc.

Simple and fun and you might (stay with me) learn something. Very god little archeology/time management game. Most excellent, stick with it, relaxing fun.

Love it! The feel of this game is great, one of my favourite features is being able to find a whole ruin rather than just single-square discoveries. A couple of things I thought might be interesting additions, perhaps being able to find artefacts and have a museum section to find what you've discovered that persists across play-throughs. I think this would add to replayability and would add something else to strive towards, there's also something nice about seeing what you've collected in one place. Also perhaps themed dig-sites you could choose to go to, eg. ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, ancient Rome, prehistoric, (maybe even a futuristic area where you're not sure what you're finding, such as alien artefacts? o_O) etc. where you have the chance to find specific artefacts to that time period, and have a section dedicated for each in a museum. A joke junk section for each area might be funny, too. 5/5!
I like those ideas and to be honest I was thinking the same thing, it would be great to make ancient Egypt excavation etc. But the game accompanies a real-life excavation event that takes place right now in real-life Nowe Monasterzysko - so it has to be focused on that specific area :)

I really have no concerns with this game, it was amazing. It kept me busy for the last hour maybe and I was quite proud of myself for clearing all 4 artifacts. Thanks. 5/5

This game feels like 1995. In a good way. Thanks for the trip down the memory lane (albeit such a short one - could really go on for a looot more levels in different locations).

One tip for people, to get the Priceless achievement, you can't buy upgrades at all, even after you finish clearing the ruins. Made that mistake.

Next level please. Graduation of undergraduates to force new less skilled member and random return of your graduates in future levels.

Well I managed to clear all of the ruins in 10 days. You could add replay value by unlocking bigger areas and more days to complete them based on achievements or maybe even more starting gold. Great game.

THANK YOU FOR DELIVERING US FROM IDLE HELL, EVEN IF ONLY FOR A FEW MINUTES!!!!!
Fun little game. Not my style, but good. 3.5/5, but a bonus half star for presenting something that does not require a good night's sleep.

I liked it, but I think I've learned not to go on an archaeology dig unless I'm given gloves and spades and suchlike up front.

Well, that was fairly insulting. Was Guarding with the aid of a Flashlight, got robbed of some of my gear... Only thing stolen was the Flashlight. D:

Really enjoy the game, gave it 5/5. If I had to criticize, i'd say that although the interface is pretty good it does feel a bit clicky by the time you get through 14 days. Maybe some keyboard shortcuts could help with that?

And for the dev... When picking your team, there is nothing that stops us from clicking "next" over and over until we get the person we want. Why not let us make characters with a set number of skill points to add. The way it works now we can pretty much do exactly that, but in a much more tedious way.

It's a fun game. One thing I would advice players is search first, only after do other things. Once you find out every dig site, remember to dig under as well, the game let's you know how much deeper the ruins reach. 4/5

120 tiles to dig and brush, some planning required. Nice and rather fast time management/sim. Cataloguing should have something that requires a little more than just sweeping through the item, perhaps a pattern to follow and some spots where you have to click during sweeping. Classy, as we've come to expect from scriptwelder.

Wait... No. It's like if battleship and minesweeper were fused together under the guise of an excavation game! I love it!

Quite fun. I enjoy the simplicity of the game. The sense of the achievement of discovery is great. The ability to choose what people you'll have is nice. The game has a lot of good points to where to make the best decisions. The game overall has a nice charm to it and is not to hard to handle, but the concept is challenging enough to make it still interesting. Keep working on it!
