Is there a point to this game or is it just endless survival? It needs to go somewhere and is like the 1200th move-your-guys-to-the-other-side-of-the-screen-game.

Needs more variety to the game. After you get everything upgraded, you are just doing the same thing over and over and over.
Maybe some sort of upgrades to troops. Or even a bigger variety of troops. Instead of unlocking one tank, unlock the tank tree. Work your way down to the ultimate tank. That sort of thing.
Great game though. I love the art style. Gets a 4/5 because of lack of variety.

Game gets quite boring after a while, I would like all of the weapons that the enemy has at their disposal.
Also you should make it so that units that cross the battlefield add to your money.
Pause button works on mine.

I've noticed that a lot of flash artists make the same game over and over with only slight variations, even when they think they're making completely different games. This, for instance, is basically blockhead turned into a sidescroller with the single guy changed to an "age of war" unit purchase setup and with the setting changed to a modern warfare theme.
Then there's the clunky controls (only one unit selectable at a time, no telling which unit you'll actually select out of a big group) and the mind-numbingly simple strategy (airstrike any big guns and then just bowl over them).
Meh, 2/5.

Nice game. Obviously the pausing is an issue, but also, when performing a strike the tab switches back to Units, which is a pain if you want to quickly reload a strike after using it. (I can't count how many tanks I've accidentally build...)

paused the game... clicked on play... nothing happens O.o
game is still in pause
i agree with other gamers... need objectives
and you should push keys to build units
anyway... nice game... but needs some work
4/5

Sorry for the double comment. The game gets a little tedious after a while. Might try breaking each area up into levels with an additional upgrade so there's a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, there is a definite need for more/better anti-air.

A few recomendations, the buying of new weapons and troops is pretty good, though a few more could be added for longer battles, but it'd also be good to upgrade the troops you have so when you have everything you can still do stuff. Also make it so you can damage your own troops with strikes. You can't set of an H-bomb in your own army just to kill the enemies.

Has the potential to be really really good, not quite there. As AMeta said there needs to be some sorta objective or story line or side objectives during the battle to engage the player more. Other then that the pause button pemanently freezes the game. 4/5, great graphics, sound, gameplay, and playibility, just wasnt entertaining enough to give that last star.

*sigh* This is what I get for not reading the comments. I just got bitten by the pause problem. Ah well. That, and I agree with SammoSammy that the fast forward is a bit too fast. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyable.

i like it
needs some tweaking as per previous comments but this is an awesome little game
a fav for me and will be good with objectives and badges
nice work!

Aside from the pause problem and the fact that the Fast Forward is a little *too* fast, this game is executed perfectly.
