Hmmmm... I feel that "Ray Ardent" is some kind of anagram but I'm to lazy to figure it out :P and it a great game! The motions feel so fluid. I just wish there was more fast paced platforming. All the dinosaurs kinda chop up the fluid-ness of the game.

i hate cause it gives at almost the end the dive atack but its k cause i was like sonic faster then litghting XD and i was gliding like and eagle too :P

There's one thing that sucks incredibly and is when jumping and using the "Dive", be killed by a creature (specially if you have the "Slice Attack")

I think my confidence just dropped to an all time low.
Im dashing through level 12 and at some point during the level you get to a cliff with a double slide at 2 different height levels with a Chargersaur at the top. That motherfacker notices me sliding through kamikaze charged over the edge and made a mockery dance of me and my scientific intellect while falling down on my head as i jump over the ledge! D:

Ok, i've got some other cool ideas. Firstly, there are too many coins/energy boosts. For me, there was no real need to conserve powers, and I could constantly pull of ninjutsu. So, perhaps spread them out more and make them more powerful changing them from an annoying chore ensuring a 5 star rating to a strategic and important powerup requiring quick thinking and adding vital seconds to your score. As well as this change, I think you should change the 5 star rating to not rely on enemies killed/powerups collected but rather time, eg under 30 seconds equals 5 stars. Frankly, I don't have the motivation to go through levels collecting unnecesary powerups, because it's too much fun to be as fast as possible.

only thing i dislike about this game is that double jump, dive and slide are pretty much essential. so you can't really take them off to choose anything else. i cant stand to give it a 4/5, so 4.5/5. ie. 5/5 :P

This game has lots of promise. Very fun, and I liked the science ninjutsu vibe as well. However, I think you need to decide on what game you would like to make. You need to either loosen the time limit and allow people to kill everything and get the energy to get the 5 star rating, or, tighten the time limit, making you genuinely having to get from A to B as quickly as possible, and make killing enemies and collecting energy mere bonuses to help with this. I think the latter is the MUCH better option, as what you have here is special and very interesting. It may be interesting if you could kill enemies by sliding into them. Just a thought...

For those complaining about needing to get all the pickups to get 5-stars, you don't need to. If you follow a single route, use anti-friction and not lose it, and time your jumps and dives so that you get most of the coins and kill most of the dinosaurs, you'll get 5-stars for the level. That said, you may not want to use dive attack or slide attack because of the extra X6 they use up. Oh and a slow computer lagging the game may dash all your hopes for those stars.

Even if I respect miss AnemoneMeer to be a genius in reviewing games and pointing out flaws, I must say I didn't experienced any problem with the controls. I actually think they are pitch perfect.

Thanks for the feedback - I've uploaded a new build.
Typo on "Jump with 'M'" - it's now Jump with 'W'
Star balancing redone to make it easier to 5Star.
Apologies to those expecting real science. Science Ninjutsu is beyond the scope of regular science.

The solution to the "You can't collect all the rings and make best time" problem is simply to grade the player based on their time as one measure, and ring-collecting as another. That way, players can aim for best time on one run and rings on another.

"I don't need luck ma'am..... I'm a scientist." Lets not pick this game apart, shall we. Becuse this whole concept is just F*ckin awesome.

LeesusFreak, the pixelated graphics are due to the fact that the game was made in Flixel. The loading bar should have told you that.

Commenter you obviously don't know anything about science. OK let me break it down for you, remember when you saw a newly waxed floor as a kid and you instinctively take of your shoes and slide around on it with your sock because you can go Really fast, that is the same basic thing used in the Anti-friction part of this game. It increases speed but lowers acceleration because when your feet are touching the ground you are still moving but you can not grip it fat enough so you don't get to top speed as fast as you would on high traction ground, but the top speed would be a higher number. So make sure you know 4th grade physics before you post such mean and idiotic comments. :P Also love the game 5/5.
