Finally a great platformer here on kongregate! This game is well made with simple controls, loving pixel art and well made stages. Unfortunately it is too short, but i love it nevertheless. :)

I usually stick with idles and incrementals but this game was worth the play. I only wish it was longer xD Seriously hope to see a sequel to this, considering that secret ending...

I love the fact that there are no lives and the checkpoints are near, plus no player interaction required to respawn. Great pacing!

The pixel style is so cool, and the controls are easy for me to use as well.
Just one thing . . . Where is the PLOT? The MEANING for killing off those annoying green things under the city? And just what was that purple eyeball thingy? All in all, awesome game!

The controls feel slightly sluggish, but it's fun, particularly the ending, where Zak flings himself headlong at an alien god armed with nothing but a steel pipe and brass balls. 100% completion is a rewarding challenge. The resurrection sound effect is giving me pazaak flashbacks, though.

At some point I thought maybe the enemies are just trying to get by and killing them will leave their childeren parentless. But then they started shooting. I really like the way challenge builds up in this game. (plus a nice little cliffhanger at the end) Good job on that :)

yeah caves 4 is def the hardest. FYI you can block bullets with your pipe (I think that's what that is), even while facing backwards. Also how did trollolusque get a caves 4 time that fast?

turned a 10 minute game into a 6-8 hour game restart after restart trying to get fastest times but dang 4th cave level is hard thanks for a cool game :)

Nice but very short? I think it could be improved by adding something to the backstory, making it clearer? I iked it anyway, just a tad too short imo

I have a pretty good computer and I play a lot of flash games. I found the controls for this one to be delayed and jerky. The timing is all wrong and I hate that you move forward a bit and the screen shakes/flashes every time you swing. I like the atmosphere and concept, and the art is very cool. The poor timing and the jerky/flashy screen mean I'd give it a 2/5 though. I'd be very interested in an improved version though!

Controls were very fluid and responsive, even on my laptop that normally lags like crazy with flash games. At first I thought the game was too easy to take seriously, but after finishing the levels and finding out that you need to get through them... differently... I thought more highly of it. Graphics were nice enough -- pixel art is fine for a fast paced game, and the sparkle effects and switching the direction of the (pipe? golf club?) between swings were a nice touch. Music, I realize might be appreciated by some people since retro is popular now, but personally I thought it got annoying fairly quickly. IMO it's a 4-5 star game, and I agree with nibor7301, something funny is going on with the score 'cause this isn't a 2.3 game at all.

Beautiful game! I love the pixel art! Also, the music was really impressive! Famitracker is very difficult to use. So I applaud you guys. Good Job!
