So confused... I got stuck after I figured out all the houses, and 3/5 of the nationalities, what 2 people drink, and who smokes Dunhill. That's all I was able to get up to ;(

I found the Einstein Riddle on youtube a week ago and tried solving it on paper with a logic puzzle grid thing, but for some reason the visual layout of this got me to solve it finally. Nice job!

You do not need trial and error, I solved it by logic. That is the harder and more fun way to do it. What fun is there in trial and error?

You realize that's an incredibly famous picture of einstein? And it shows him as a happy man, not a stupid one. Also, the fact that it cannot be determined by logic does not mean it is chance. There is only 1 correct answer, you just need to use trial and error. Which is logic, really

Only 11 out of 25 can be determined by logic alone, the rest is random chance. 1/5 for that and the offensive picture of Einstein making him look like a bleeding, freaking idiot.
