har! that was too easy! best tip ever: dont be afraid to place the houses in random places at the start, then solve all the questions to do with house places and colours, take it from there

for all of you people saying you have to guess, you don't. You have to extrapolate but that is very different. Alot of it is process of elimination and I'm guessing thats what alot of you people forgot to do. But it is the perfect number of clues to just make sure you get everything right. Pretty fun =)

I don't see why misanthr0pe has been disliked, he's correct, the actual logic puzzle itself doesn't require guessing if you write down your process, you can eliminate others by looking at what they already have. As for ittlecas, it's Einsteins riddle, to add a randomizer would simply make it worthless, as it's made to only have a single solution.

actually guessing takes about 5 minutes, first fill in the absolute values such as the norwegian living in the first house. Then fill everything up. Click finish. see how many you have right, starting from the top, rearrange them until you get each row of data correct. I broke the system in less then five minutes :P fix this so that it doesn't tell you how many you have right at the end. It should only say right or wrong.

Very nice and no guessing required. @ipreferpie: you do well with math but logic may not be your strong point. Can we get a randomizer so we can replay this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I did it in, uh, maybe 10 mins. @alexader101, the probability by just guessing is actually less than 20%, as there is only one solution in 3,125 possible combinations, making it more like 1/3,125 or 0.00032. Yeah. Anyway, that's what the clues are for. A hint: You WILL have to guess after a while.

WOO HOO! After reseting like 8 times I got it and it feels amazing!!!! Einstien, I applaud you for coming up with such a puzzle!

Guys.. This is a RIDDLE, you get hints, try without the hints for once, it's impossible.. It's a RIDDLE, it's not supposed to have replay value.. It's a RIDDLE, you're supposed to find it out, this ain't minesweeper! IT'S A FREAKING RIDDLE!!

This was so easy. =_= I don't think it was devised by Albert Einstein. It took me only 5 minutes to solve + review. I got 25/25 (perfect) btw. Therefore, 3/5 is most appropriate imo.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I thought I wouldn't get it, but I did! The clues weren't too easy, and thankfully there weren't too FEW of them for me to get it.. 4/5

a minesweeper-like layout (ability to mark this-is-right, this-is-wrong, this-is-potential) would make this much more convenient

i did it 1st time only thing that through me was
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
what's the comma supposed to be

Was stuck for 10 minutes, reset the whole thing and solved it in approx 5 minutes. Not very hard. Start with what is given, then organize the things you know in groups (like next, to the facts, or anywhere on the screen), place something randomly and see if it works out with all the facts and proceed to win

Actually, if viewed like one of those jigsaw puzzles as a child, it becomes easy. Do all that you can without having to check, and try to put in the 'pieces'.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What's beautiful in this riddle is that you don't have to "try to put the answers and see if it comes out"; instead if you think properly you will know where every piece of puzzle has to be put.

@tyrran, this is the hardest puzzle in earth and you want to make everybody look like a genius?
people want test their mind, youre destroying the best way they have to do this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The technique I used was: 1.The thing I was certain of I placed where it went 2. Then i organised the other things that went together in pairs (or threes). 3.Then i placed those over the houses to see if things made sense. 4.Then I went throught the chech list and checked if everything made sense. If not i did step 3 over again.

will everyone stop saying it is impossible to find out who owns the fish. one of the FACTS is that you know what color the houses are and what pets there are you just have to use the other clues/FACTS to find where they go. also there needs to be more games like this.
