The icons and the music tend to be off by just enough to ensure you can't rely on the music with timing, which pretty much eliminates the point of this game. Some finishing touches in that department might propel this piece to the 'above average' -category.

The game also runs choppy for me, even though my processor is barely being used. I think you should add an icon in the game that shows whether we are playing perfectly or not. I have finished a few songs "perfectly" but only gotten a gold star from them. Maybe you should make the buttons that you have to hold a little more forgiving if that is the problem.

I think I am now insane due to the frequent lag and subsequent skips that kill every combo I get. I'm not sure what to do about it.

Kahlnen, there is surely some bug going on because I have about the same RAM, video card and processor as you do and there's no lag for me... weird.

Ok I thought the lag issue was firefox, but apparently I'm having it in an IE tab... this shouldn't be happening -- I've got 2 gigs of ram, 8800 GTX (if that even matters lol) and a dual-core processor...
So for now my ranking stays.

I'm one of those haters! I hate this music. Get some good music. I don't want to listen to an eight year old on microphone. I can play the game just fine without the music, and the fact that I cannot mute the music makes the game incompatible with my flash tastes. I am not saying I dislike Indie-artists. In fact, there are alot of great Indie-artists. I just dislike this game. But I am not going to give it a 1 because of that. Game play is fine, the music matches up with the symbols, and its easy to understand. Clean and neat, but not to my tastes. 3 out of 5.

Wow, I think this may be the least engaging game on all of Kongregate. "Push the key. Now push the key again. Now push a totally different key!" And somehow, the terrible graphics and mediocre soundtrack fail to save it. Congratulations, the "games with badges" group has found a new omega.

Lol @ complainers who just suck too much at it to even assume that they do, and instead they say it's a clone. And people comparing this to Guitar Hero... this is Flash. Guitar Hero is a big game.

Holy crap this game randomly freezes every so often in every song, making it nearly impossible to get any badge... since I can't even really play this game 1/5.

morgan, i had that exact same problem first time i played. on the part where you hit the same key multiple times, make sure you count it out so you don't hit it an extra time
also, hold all the runs slightly past where it seems to end to make sure you get it all

I can't get higher than 11312 on This Way Demo. The weird this is, I keep getting EXACTLY 11312 everytime. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please help me!

This is by far the stupidest game on kongregate, beating dtd. And now badges? I almost want to stop going to this site because of worthless games like this. Horrible rip off of a clone, it's done a million times, stick figures?, takes too long to load, etc etc. Please delete this game. 1/5

I'm having severe lag issues as well as a "dead arrow" problem in SWITCH. My left arrow key fails to register on certain notes in the song, even when I make a point to hit it perfectly accurately and to press the key sharply. This is a very large roadblock on my way to attempting the impossible badge considering I can't actually hit all of the notes on this song. Please fix this as soon as possible.

I mean, this game is okay, but it seems really pretentious. I bet that guy who did the LoZ "rockin'" thinks that he's just the greatest thing that's ever lived. This may not be true, but for some reason, I just get a really arrogant vibe from this game.
