@cresswga you have to beat 4 bosses to get 4 pieces once you get that the circle/square where you first started the game at will now be accessible as there will now be a red circle there so you must go there and run into it to activate it and then try to kill it.

Here is a nice tip. Each time you enter a area hold down the mouse button to start firing then move mouse off screen and release mouse button when you move the mouse back to game screen you'll now have auto fire without having to hold down the mouse button. When you hit a area where you have to destroy enemy bases don't do it and instead use that to your advantage by killing all of the enemies that keep coming after you to try to prevent you from destroying their bases and by doing this you can have a endless supply of bits to farm till you get bored of killing enemies or max out everything whichever comes first. Triangle boss's do not approach them and you will be able to snipe them from afar without them sending out enemies to try to kill you.

Thanks for the answer duveltje but I don't have any circle parts to pick up. Maybe they despawned when I left the boss area. It really wasn't clear that that was what I needed to do when you aren't able to pick up any other ship parts and they aren't automatically collected by the powerup.

Bosses on the red squares drop quarters of circles you can pick up, when you picked up 4 the red squares will disappear and you can find the circle in the middle of the map

this would be more fun if weapons had their own unique cooldowns and didn't go on full cooldown when you swapped to them

I max out all everything but 2 skills. Shotgun used for most of all fights, last boss was damage was poor. Launcher with upgrade on last boss was really good. Took down hard shapes plus travel through them to hit other shapes/boss. Only 2 skills was not taken was about the 2 for clear of bits and full hp. Good game.

@pacogoatboy: Regular regeneration only kicks in at low health. You can spend some skill points to improve it, but even then it tops out at around 3/4 of your health bar, and for the same amount of investment you could instead get a full heal each time you clear an area, or much higher chance of health pack drops + a small heal when picking up money.
As for spending money to improve regen, that just speeds up how quickly you regen. The more important stat for regeneration is usually health, since 3/4 of 200 health is still twice as much as 3/4 of 100 health.

I think you need to add some powerful upgrades expecially for new game plus. I played the second time, due to I was trying to beat it as fast, I found it was even harder than the first time.
I think you need to make the game harder, dont let players to beat the final boss when they play the first time. They shall stuck, and tried , and then found a button named prestige. You know what I meant.
And btw. You spent alot time to make 4 different weapons , but for me they are only different in damage. They are not funny at all. You should try to make stable weapen, tricky weapon and funny one, and even wired ont.

you barely have to go 5 squares away from the center to beat the game. went to the edge out of curiosity and its just a green wall. 0/11

Well game is fine if you like to something to do but the most interesting for me was The Ending Clip so I reversed it. I don't know if I heard that good but it was saying " it's your face, it's who ace ace nani". I don't if that is just so random words put at the end or it's reference to TV animation show Get Face - Ace in your face. Anyway game is nice time killer and Ending Clip would be nice to be confronted with creator ^-^

Would love the game were it not for stepping out of bounds 2 or 3 times per area and having to start all over. Boundaries should be well marked, it'd save a of considerable aggravation.

Nice game. Two comments:
* it's too easy to fall off the current area accidentally, which is frustrating when you're close to beating a boss
* the boxes in the Destroy areas are often hard to find, and you end up accidentally switching areas while trying to find the last one

good game, enjoyed it alot while i grinded through the game. The game got a little bit of a difficulty spike later down the line, even though i was maxed out in every regard. overall, this is a very nice game with some potiential for a sequel, perhaps one where you can build your own craft? :D

I really like the mechanic here where dramatic music plays only when there's an enemy onscreen. Ramps up the tension and sense of cinematic engagement, but it's also a useful warning for when I'm busy clearing asteroids and something sneaks up on me.
A counter showing how many non-ship objects are left in a given space would be very useful. I don't mind exploring to find them, it'd just be nice to know there's still something to explore for.

Looking at TheNextNeo's response, it's honestly laughable. I wonder how many games that LOOK "poor quality" got the same kind of message.

Frustrating, aggrivating and ultimately highly unbalanced. Low Poly and very low effort.
For Flash games, this is very bottom of the barrel.

Being able to choose our ship's shape (like the little enemy ships with additional speed or like the double ship with additional power etc.) would be very cool.

At full upgrades, basic does 117 dps, machinegun does 128 dps, shotgun does 333 dps, and launcher does 223 dps *times number of enemies hit*.
