Great game! It's a bit more interactive than the typical idle game, which is nice to see. It would be really awesome if the shortcutIP replacements worked with the mine command. Attempting to use, for example, 'mn !$IP -MAC0-' always returns "IP not injected"

I'm earning 7 SFC/s, but I don't see a way to win. I also have optimization level 4, but it doesn't seem any faster. THIS IS NOT AN IDLE GAME. Idle games eliminate the tedious repetition, but this game is all about doing the same tedious steps over and over again.

I loved this game so much, but it only took me about 2 hours to complete. I would like to see an extension to the story. Would definitely recommend, but it can get repetitive if that's a red flag for you. One idea I had was to have multiple bosses after you beat the game.

Nice, I wish it was longer with a longer story line. I wish we could start typing the next command while it's "loading" w/e it's doing.

I can't put this symbols ([]) so I can't use the shortcut [MAC#]. My keybord it's not native english. I tried all combinations but inside the game I can't do that symbols :(

might be fun if it would feel like a real console. No autocomplete, Pos1/End doesn't work, no scrolling (yes, that is a thing on old terminals), shift does a click sound but the next key not (feels akward), etc. In real life (tm) I would have written a script for the first 20min of "gameplay" (scan -> inject -> mine.. that's crying for automation). Overall 2/5. If you want to build a hacker-idle, do your homework.
Mining is a concept of using processing power to obtain crypto-currencies. I imagine that printers are not stuffed with money, but have a processor to deal with printing tasks.

Nice take on the hacker genre .. though I feel that a bit more effort should have been placed on story telling .. for example what exactly was the connection with the kidnapper ... I can sort of piece together something playing both the pay and hack endings ... but still feel as if many questions are unanswered ....

great game, had a lot of fun. missing few essential shortcuts tho :), as a heavy linux user i missed some.. for example ctrl+w ctrl+k ctrl+left ctrl+right could be bought as an upgrades. home key shouldnt scroll to the top, page up and page down are gd enough for that. home should scroll to the ^ end to the $.

Completed the game doing the pay ending, was hoping to be able to go back and get the second ending without having to play the entire game again, but I am unable to use the target command or even buy it again. Not sure if that's a bug or not

Game is fun and interesting, a more 'active' take on the Idle genre. I gave it 4 stars only because it seemed a bit short, and lacking in some keyboard shortcuts, which are somewhat minor complaints. CTRL+A would be great to delete everything, Copy+Pasting IP's would reward the player for quick typing, though it might change the balance of the shortcuts. Otherwise, By the time I bought everything I was just getting used to everything and wanted more. Great job, Silverfinish!

nice after playing for an hour and making alot of progress the game crashes and i lost all of the progress i've made. fix your game.
The command to crack a WPA network is 'crack wpa {IP} {Port}'. To find the port, the 'probe {IP} {Guess between 1-99}' command is used, which informs you if your guess is higher or lower than the actual, from which you can adjust by recalling the command with the up arrow and changing your guess. For example if the guess '50' is too low, your next guess would be '75'. Hope this helps!

So I understood what I did wrong, not enough cash, but what does the locate IP and target IP do? Also as for an SSID DuckSanctuary, very great game, I really enjoyed myself playing it

silverfinish can you make the mine command easier to understand because i cant get pass the tutorial because of the mine command
Each device has a corresponding MAC address, and to mine one you can use the command 'mine {IP} {MAC}'. The MAC address was found in 'listdevices {IP}', so to complete the step, you would need to input 'mine 12.34.56.78 EA:11:12:BC:22:91'. Hope this helps!

I guess I forgot a detail in my previous comment, when I said that I did "Pay m5hds99jd3n2" I meant to say that I put "Pay m5hds99jd3n2 5000" and it does nothing, unless i am missing something, i am still a bit confused, but thank you nonetheless for the responding so quick to my previous query

how are you supposed to us the mac# shortcut? I've tried
mine ip mac1
mine ip mac#1
mine ip 1
I'm just not understanding how its supposed to work.

For all the people who did not understand the clear and thorough tutorial, to find a port you must use the probe command. I.e. probe [ip] [port]. WPA ports range from 1-99 and WPA2 ports range from 1-9999. After you successfully determine the port, use the crack command to later expose, inject, listdevices, and mine.
WPA2 ports range from 1 to 9999, which can be determined through the use of the probe command, 'probe {IP} {Guess between 1 to 9999}', which informs if the port is higher or lower to the actual, from which you can adjust and guess again. For example, if 'probe 55.55.55.55 5000' gives too low, then your next guess would be 'probe 55.55.55.55 7500'. Hope this helps!

So, I'm really enjoying it, but just stumbled upon something annoying. Using the crack WPA after buying it ,all values I enter for port, give me "invalid port" Wether it be 2, 25565, a letter or empty, it always gives that error. Am I missing something?

Fantastic game. I was thinking when I started that the premise wasn't enough to make endless typing fun, but I was sure wrong. A+ execution and what a unique idea!

Nice theme, great execution (although I wish Home and End keys worked for moving along the command line, not through the output). I like how you unlock stuff that makes hacking easier, but keep the core mechanic.
I was expecting the game to go on after you pat the blackmail money but was disappointed that this is it.
Still, a very fun experience!
