wep crack doesn't work for me. I wait the time limit, it says network cracked, and I try to inject but it says that the network is secured. I scan again, and it still says it's WEP protected, even though I just cracked it

Bug: One network's security (None, WEP, WPA & WPA2), one said 'null'.
When I injected, it said: Network is secured. It's not WEP, WPA and WPA2 either

Idle Hacking is a sequel to Watch_Dogs I think. The game takes place in a dismal society where people resort to stealing children and wives for a living. You play as Michael, a retired crypto-trader who is forced to delve into his dark past in order to save his young daughter. The gameplay is very innovative, and the shooting mechanics is very responsive. The narrative is brilliantly voiced by the famous Michael Grimes and features some other lovable characters. 5/5

From what I could tell, the tutorial instructs you to use 'purchase [item]' in order to buy from the store, but once you're actually in the game it changes to 'buy [item]'. Just a heads up

Silverfinish, I'm on firefox. I was explaining for the ones complaining on it, so they know it's not a bug directly, but that one time they had a symbol but another they didn't.

Finally got it to work in Firefox. Great game enjoyed every minute.
Buying the HUD was a great purchase.
Figuring out the [ip] was an adventure, but was able to fly through those networks using it.
Would love to see a sequel

This is one of the best devolopers. As shown above and below the developer responds quickly to all comments good or bad. The game is the pinicalle of the latest in a series of "Idle" games which can not only be played AFK (idle) but can also be chosen to be a more interactive game with micromanaging.

the end is a bit weird... no matter if i pay or find out the location of the bad guy, the game just ends, period. i mean, if there's a story, i'd like it to have an actual ending :(

About the "not recognizing randomly". Symbols like ^ and ` make a typing sound but dont show. Yet, the game counts them when recognizing a command, making them fail.

I paid the kidnapper 5000 SFC, and I was notified of a new message. But the game wouldn't let me type 'messages' to view the message. And then the game faded out with sad music. I have no idea what happened, and I can't reload the game to immediately try again, because now all story mode commands are locked off. That's an hour-and-a-half I'll never get back. >_
The newest update (v1.3) adds new ending cutscenes to the game, story commands should be temporarily enabled to view them if you have completed the game.

Suggestion for additional store items: Command Aliasers/Shortcuts/Abbreviations. Each one could be sold seperately., or perhaps in pairs, or in #-char bundles. Examples for 3 character commands: [oribe: prb], [crack: cra], [exppose: xpo], [inject: inj], [listdevices: ldv] Examples for 2 character commands: [probe: pb], [crack: ck], [expose: xp], [inject: ij], [listdevices: ld].

cannot crack WEP networks. I enter crack wep IP and it starts a countdown. Then a messages pops up saying network cracked but then i cannot inject that ip. It says it is secure

It only recognises some of my commands most of the time, even "help" displays as unrecognized command. unplayable for me.

Gotta say for WPA2 IPS, should have the to low or too high comment as well. I honestly just brute forced through 0-1000 and got invalid port on all of them....
There should be a message for the WPA2 networks as well, can you send me any screenshots indicating this issue? (Edit) This could be a case of using the 'crack' command instead of the 'probe' command which indicates if the port is low/high.

Yeah this a great start. A lot of other comments are saying the same thing so I won't go crazy on the details but some expansion of content could make this a pillar on Kongregate for sure. Something like scripts to automate some hacking and maybe even a goal or two along the way.

I love the idea and it has the potential to be a much deeper game, with more commands to purchase and maybe the ability for like "raids" IE cracking into say the government or something. I like the alternate ending.

rly i payd the 5000 sfc to the anonyme message and the game is frozen i must close my browser and reconnect to game i have only the message: Game Complete story specific commands are dissabled....... thats the game u farm 5000 SFC payd it to a annonyme dude without any information yeah thats the live workink working working to give all your money to a anonym dude for nothing and then u can die.....

shop is empty. mining >10 sfc/sec. no idea what good locating does, never been able to use target for anything. where is the story? where is the mission? where are the pay/hack endings?

both shortcutip and shortcutmac don't seem to be working, no matter what format i input it still gives an error, ending up in me still having to type the full respective adresses.
Thanks for playing! Typing [IP] instead of the address should replace it with the most recent IP you have used, and [MAC#] (replacing # with the index) should replace the MAC address. Let me know if there is still an issue.

Sooo I overflowed the datatype you're using to store SFC. Ended up with -21,308,263 after converting $18,611,612.16 @ SFC = 0.86 USD. Fun times. Like the game though.
Thank you for showing dedication to this game, this issue has been patched as of v1.2.0, allowing higher balances. You can also reclaim 16 million USD by loading the game.

Can't wait for this to be developed further, my suggestions are: command shortcuts (ie: ld for listdevices, sc for scan etc) A way to see the status of a crack (bar completion to 100% etc..) Keep up the good work!
