finally done both ending..... man my finger is tires...... took me almost 2 hours to complete it. but overall good game, maybe you can add in more content like counter hacking or hack into higher authority for higher risk and gain factor.

I finally realized you can view all of your mines and see your income per second with "Status"...
Here is a list of the productivity of each kind of device:
printer: 0.01 sfc /s
smartphone: 0.05 sfc /s
laptop: 0.10 sfc /s
medium End PC: 0.20 sfc/s
High End PC: 0.40 sfc/s
Supercomputer: 1.0 sfc/s

finished it relativly fast. No need to let it run overnight. I went for the payback option. I don't suppose there is a way to load a save before I make that call? I'm not really wanting to play it from scratch.
Thank you for playing! You should be able to continue the game after the ending, unless you are going for the other ending. I may add the ability to view endings in the 'bonuses' section later on.

Cool idea - but the inability to make a script for it (in game) to automate things... it's not really an "idle" game except you have to wait for money? 98% is active.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh man, maby you should add some kind of machines, that you would program to idle your hacking? Like, you buy programs or something and then with specific commands you program them to crack securities or to auto mine with these devices. But even if this game is called "Idle" even if it is not, I loved it! So bad, that it don't have more gameplay like more kinds of securities, what have better devices and are more difficult to break! 5/5 for me, I hope that you are going to update it often.

Would be nice if Home and End keys worked like they do in a console/text editor, i.e. go to front and end of the line instead of scrolling to top/bottom.
For scroll top/bottom, maybe SHIFT or CTRL PgUp/PgDn instead?

With the MAC shortcut you have to add the [ ] to it, for example:
mine 12.34.56.78 [MAC0]
then from then you can use the 'up arrow' to switch the 0 to a 1, and so on.
Hope this helps some people!

Bought Mac shortcut, but doens't seem to work for me? What do I type exactly?
Right now i have tried 'mn !$ MAC0' and 'mn !$ [MAC0]' But the [ and ] don't work for me.

I have a bug that makes me unable to probe the WPA ports. I try the IP, and a number, and it says "Invalid port - Too high, WPA ports range from 1 to 99." I tried the port 13. Halp?
After using 'listdevices', the MACs will have corresponding indexes next to them. Instead of typing out the entire MAC address in your input, you can use [MAC#] in its place, replacing the # with its index. Afterwards, the up arrow can be used to retrieve this command and you can change the index again.

Why did turning the music off in main menu also turn off the voice acting? 2nd, why wont the game save? I get a nice amount of progress one day but come back the next to find it ALL GONE because i closed the tab.
I can confirm that the game saves regularly, and when you use 'exit'. It may be a saving issue on your end, or the save file corrupting due to the game closing during the saving. I'll do testing on this to find out more. Let me know through PMs if you would like your progress to be restored.

Good game, beat in a couple hours due to needing to wait to get SFC/money. Voice acting was the only terrible thing about the game. xD

This is a very cool game. Great start to a Great build out. Hoping for a few more features and automation once you rise in wealth/experience. Keep up the great work

Finished the game, was fun. What i would add is to allow to use Home and End to go to the start and end of command line. This would be useful before you buy the short commands in the store. So you use arrow up, Home, modify command.

Started, left it running at night. Now I get unrecognized protocol AND invalid port, no matter the ip/port/protocol I use on cracking.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bought the WPA crack, Now everytime I try to use it, I get unrecognized protocal, I have tried with a space, without a space with a port number without a port number. Help shows the format so it recognized that I bought it.
Thank you for playing! I am currently thinking of a second instalment with more depth, including multiple ways to hack networks, hiring other people with various stats to hack for you, and investing currency to gain more in the long term.

There's a slight hole in the plot. The kidnapper demands a measly 5000 SFC, which they could mine themselves in under 17 minutes on their five supercomputers. LOL
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Who kidnaps someone and runs to Antarctica? I think this is correct, the coordinates were too brief for me to get them exactly. If it is Antarctica, 5k$ wouldnt even cover the airfare lol
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So, in the hunt for other endings, I'm wondering: how long before the kidnapper kills the girl? ...or does such a time limit exist?

For the love of $deity, please add support to home, end and delete keys, I'm pressing them all the time out of instinct XD
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hey, it's a cool game, congratulations! listen, i think there should be a way to access to "inventory" in order to see what items you purchased, just a thought

This will speed up the port search for all ya java coders out there who CBA to make their own quick tool. :)

Fresh. 5-starred.
I would suggest, though, that "crk weB" returns "illegal protocol", not "unrecognized command".
Also, can't get that !$ shortcut out of my reflexes. Would have been easier than [ip]. :)
You input the 'mine' followed by the IP and MAC Address, for example, 'mine 12.34.56.78 AA:11:22:33:44:55'. You can find the MAC addresses with 'listdevices'.
