@miezebieze - The 'Too Low/Too High' is the error message for probe. Start with like 50 for WPA, if it returns Too High, go to 25, Too Low, try 75. You just use the error message to narrow it down, and guess until you find it. It doesn't hint at it very well, but that's how you are supposed to use it.

probe doesn't even print an error message. When I give 1 as the port parameter it complains that the port should be in the range of 1 to 99, (which it is). ... I tried again with port 2, which seems to be too low as well. I will not play this any further.

very fun game, oddly relaxing. maybe you could add chapters to this to maximize replay value. (hack a govt facility, e.g., banks, etc.)

I suppose the [IP] and [MAC#] commands should be used without the "[]" becase no matter what I do I cant write them ingame... plus there were some other characters that supposedly can be used instead, but I don't remember them... using them would not be a big help anyway, since finding them on ingame keyboard would probably be really hard as well :D don't get me wrong, I like the game, though it is rather simple, it is enjoyable, but things like these are extremely annoying

great game, thinking out side the box on the mechanics of the game. I love that there is an ending for it unlike other idle games don't. i felt that this game was short but hoping for another like this.

Ño idea what keyboradlayout the game is based on... can't for the life of me use the [mac#] command due to being unable to find where I need to press to write a [ in the game, it's not where it is on my normal keyboard (scandinavian/swedish) nor where it would be on an american one from my google searches

If you are playing this game with a Mac keyboard, fn+up arrow will give you Page Up scroll, and same for fn+down arrow.

This game was genuinely fun for just being a text game,im pretty biased when it comes to hack-related games, the voice acting seems pretty comedic though, im not sure if this is intentional or not.

Would be nice to see a bigger and broader storyline or a concept beyond how it ends. Also more interesting upgrades like computers and parts would be cool if there was a continuation. Great game, played 3 times already.

I think It would be a bit better if you could scroll through all the things that you have typed that way if you forget a IP yiu dont have to tell it to list al infected IP's

It's definitely a bit more active and shorter than an idle game, but I really liked it. If you expanded it a bit more to utilize the idle technology already within the game and added additional story elements and more varied and fun types of mini games I think it could support a much bigger game.
If you did you'd want to automate some of the processes, but I think you did a great job overall.
You can use 'probe {IP} {guess}'. If the port is too high or low, you will be notified and can try again. For example, if 'probe 12.34.56.78 50' is too high, then you can try 'probe 12.34.56.78 25', and so on until you find it.

Possible bug or oversight: continuing the game after winning, after about a minute I got a message "I'm waiting, Michael" ...

@yanta that's expected -- those two commands are only useful for the story. If you want to view the other ending, go into the BONUS section from the menu.

Great game, enjoyed it a lot. Small UI complaint: Using "Home" and "End" to SCROLL THE SCREEN was not intuitive. I kept trying to use them to go to beginning and end of line.

The opening and ending scenes are epic. The location of the bad guy's IP (-65.733750, 92.450333) makes me wonder why does he live on an island near the Antarctic.

Could be a little bit longer story wise. I think 10 minute cooldown on rescan is a little excessive, especially if I get an area with a lot of unprotected networks.

There was at least one major feature which i was missing badly right from the get go: shell completion
This would lessen the time consumption on typing which would lead to a more "idle" feel to the game
Overall its a nice one though - grats to the succ dev

Great game. Only problem I ran into was upon loading the game after beating it, I seem to have lost the TargetIP and LocateIP items from my command list and they didn't reappear in the shop to repurchase. Other than that, it's an amazing game and definitely gets my 5 stars due to the gameplay alone.

Gz, good game. If you want to polished it a bit, you must not show the prompt when you cannot type...so if you have to wait for a command to be executed, i should not see the prompt until i can type. (meaning the OS isnt really multi-threding :P ) im not very far in the game tho but for now, im deepling loving it.

I have never seen a game like this (except idle hacker but you just go crazy on keyboard in that game)! I like it a lot!
