banshee to prevent stations from being destroyed (highly reduce the chance of station destruction) you need to place a fleet first command them to attack enemies and then start building, afterwards it will tell you when the buildings complete. You should travel around, trade, etc until the time is up. then return to that system and do whatever else. I recommend building a star-base and defences first, then other facilities.

trade missions on planets suck you cant see where to go you have nothing to tell you unless you memorized EVERY planet in the galaxy

Upon starting the game off as a Cardassian, my game freaks out and I repeatedly beam down to the planet which I currently am in orbit with (Cardassia), not to mention the repeatedly loud obnoxious warp sound.
So I'm like: "Oh, good, so this remake is broken too." No sooner did I notice a ship next to me having a seizure, going through every sprite in the game. At this point, I'm dumbfounded and petty confused. So I decide to try and hail it. ...Nothing happens, yet the sound plays.
My next decision is to try and play the game further.
[1 minute of attempted gameplay later] "... OKAY, THAT DID IT! I will NOT stand for this abuse!
I then promptly leave the game...

I refuse to play a game that requires a large investment of my time, then discards all of my saves when I return to work on my sprawling empire. Saving system's more broken than the old beta's space station building system. 1/10

This is too buggy to play, going back to BM1. My ships just fired on and destroyed a completed station in my home system.... It's an all or nothing order system for other ships, I don't want 100% of my ships to do trade with none left to defend. No place is selling weapon platforms. Can't attack back when attacked, just horrible compared to BM1.

Soo... besides 3 systems, all the rest have hostiles in them. Can't flee the system, they kill me, I don't have enough antimatter to jump out afterwards.
Restarts are getting tiring.

Enter ilovetocheat into the cheat codes bar (F8) And your latinum,deuranium should rise to 900,000 or so. Experience should rise to 1000. To raise your planetary rating type : imgood for a planet. It should go to 110% imbad to bring it down to -100. + this.

ok this really is a broken game. The dominions keep killing eachother, and I guess the Klingons are my allies even though I'm human? Plus a Human refugee ship had some weirdass not human marking. What in the serious f*** is wrong with this game?

this game is actually retarded. There were a crap ton of dominion ships in klingon space, and no one killed each other even though they are enemies. And then at one point a fleet of dominion ships attacked another fleet of dominion ships. What the hell is going on?

Anybody know how to solve the bug where you can't build any space stations? They said they're being built but if you leave and come back they're gone.
