Not bad. Barricades need to be cheaper - maybe a more expensive wall version I could place things on would also be good. Critters seem to bounce to much when flung by the spring traps - gave up using them after the gritters started bouncing back onto the trap that launched them. Needs to splat and drop.

Nice game. Strongly reminds me of "Orcs must die", the traps are similar(at least in the beginning) and even music sounds familiar.

I keep hitting a black screen during multiple stages after the first...jut thought i'd throw it out there just to let you know...definitely could be on my end

The fact that this has a 3.8 rating is disgusting! this deserves a 5/5! It's the best TD i've ever seen and its not even finished! vote this up so the dev/s can see what a great game they have made and that we all appreciate it. If i had any money at all i would donate.

I've been playing this for awhile, and I can safely say that its addictive. It's not like a standard TD game in that it requires more strategy. Your basic turret can only fire three spaces in one direction. And you need to place it on a wall. It would be more challenging if the AI actively changed its routes requiring you to redeploy your resources and would be easier if there was a type of scaffold or something that allowed you to use the wall based weapons on them. (Probably exclusive to the easy mode.) Overall a great game. Considering that its Alpha and that it has allot of content in it currently, I would recommend it.

So now that this is on Steam, have you just stopped updating it here on Kong? Been a month since the last update or news about it, but it seems that the Steam version was updated in the last week.

hidden feature, hit 'P' to dynamically pause without bringing up the menu. scrolling/placing is still possible. Vote up so others see.

This game BADLY needs a tactical pause where I can actually look around, see what's going on, and rebuild things if necessary.

I feel lke you should beable to block all paths but one on the lvl where you get the snars you cant block 2 of 3 paths like what?

Such a simple problem to fix, yet why?
Where is full screen mode? Which isn't exactly a problem EXCEPT this game has the inability to look around (or do anything) while paused. So there's levels where massive number of monsters can show up in multiple entrances on opposites sides of the map. There is no full screen so you get this little window to look and scroll around to deal with them. And since the game won't let you pause and look/plan out where the problems are you get screwed in alot of maps. Neither 'problem' by itself is that big a deal, but having both no pause and/or full screen options turns what could have been a great game to just average. Sorry.

Awesome game, but: 1) why can't i call waves early? I'd like to call 3 waves at one, or even all of them. Let me do this! 2) good graphics, very responsive game (high fps).

Cool game. 4/5. It feels good when you lay down your traps in the right place and wave after wave just gets destroyed.

jipporea: I was stuck on crumble zone for a little while - you have to make the map work for you. I beat it by protecting the doors at the bottom right for as long as possible, then concentrating on a combination of spikes, pushers, darts, and slime on the narrow horizontal walkway in the middle. When the doors break, a block in the right place at the top will force both groups to use the walkway but in opposite directions. The congestion helps slow everybody down in the killzone, and you make them walk along the rails as much as possible. You'll need to protect the top right gate too. It's a good level, it got me thinking...

If you like the game, buy it on steam because the steam version has 2x the levels, 2x the traps and a level editor coming soon!

Great game!! You completely hooked me up and i'm usually not a fan of the td genre :-D
Question: what does the little red gimmick between your lives and xp on the topright do?
Idea: resetting your upgrades = top notch, but sometimes you don 't want to completely reset everything and a decrease level per level would be super, not? :)

Great game as far as it works. I understand this is an alpha, but its pretty frustrating since stage haphazard won't end for me. last wave, all defeated but map won't end. tried it 3 times in different modes so far. sad, because i liked it so far pretty much.

Bug - If demons are killed by being thrown off the map it still registers them as spawned. I only have 1 demon currently spawned but showing 3/3

So here's an idea that I thought of while playing the game. Why not add something like a steel door that cannot be broken by anything, but only you can demolish it permanently for the current round, to open up an entirely new pathway for new strategies to be made. Of course, these "new pathways" should lead straight back towards the main path leading to the portal.

Bug - most propably bug/situation not thought by devs. When You barricade patch, so that nobody can go there, and said path has also natural doors on it's path (wach - level with mine carts) it is possible that baricade will be destroyed by Dwarf Expolsion, and another Dwarf will go through said path... AND it is possible for that another Dwarf to be last enemy on whole map (from last wave). Because Dwarfs can not attack normally, and they will not use Sucidal Explosion against natural doors - player gets stuck if He has no money to set up trap that will kill of that one last dwarf.
This did happened to me - exapt I had money to kill off that one annoying guy.

I can't get right clicking to upgrade to work on my macbook. :( In everything else, a two-finger tap does the trick, but apparently not here.

I hate the bomb Mine Cart most of the time when I get a bomb minecart I have the 20 guys be hind the guy killed by the bomb minecart are able to get to the portal.

The game is really overly simple with the latest update. Around alpha 5-6, it was a good challenge, I had to restart hard levels a few times to lay out a better defense.
Now it's just a yet-another-boring tower defense, mindless, brainless. BOO!

Good work. Bug: doors sometimes not attacked when a crowd builds.
Balance issue: difficulty seems to jump at the heroes must die level. Still doable, but possibly not for casual gamers.
