orb locations
1. In a tree on the left side of the second "room" in the Green Forest. You can just barely see it in the leaves. It's orange.
2. Talk to Grotus in your HQ.
3. Go to Pirate Pete. He is found by turning right after entering the Lake. After finding his chests, he'll give you the orb.
4. In the first or second room of the Lower Caverns (I can't remember exactly), walk into the upper right corner. It looks like a wall, but you can actually walk through it. At the end of the passage, you will find a chest.
5. Go to the old lady in Somnus and ask for an antique.
6. In the second "room" of the Green Forest, you will see a green tent in the upper right corner. Walk in, talk to the elf, buy the 2 items he's selling and then ask if he has any more "gadgets". He'll give you an orb.
7. There's one on an island in the lake. I think that it only appears after the mission with Dark Eye. It's pretty easy to see.
8. Talk to your brother in the Academy.

for some reason, the game no longer saves my actual progress, lost 3 levels and a lot of training for the teammates because it keeps loading a earlier save rather than the actual save itself

Its stupid how you have to add new party members to your lineup. I always forget, and then I start the mission... 5/5 anyway.

maaaaan. seems like a cool game, BUT whenever i use the keyboard to attack and accidently have an enemy highlighted the game sort of freezes and i have to refresh the page.

the left side of the card shows how many blue orbs you have to spend to get the bonus, which is on the right side of the card (either + damage or + health. The cards that do most damage don't have any bonuses or expend any orbs.

It is possible to save - go to menu -> game options > Saved Games. 'it also auto saves quite often. By the way: you can take advantage of this by saving before playing dice with gamblin' Jack. Win a couple of times, save, and challenge him again. Load from a previous save if you lose. The card game is also really easy if you learn the rules. Just get the cards that give you +damage as soon as possible, and pick the cards that do the most damage. You should have + 3-6 damage in order to beat Jack.

Thank you for this game, I have very much enjoyed playing it for a while. I don't feel like continuing playing now though, because there are not enough opportunities to save the game. It becomes tedious when you have to repeat 5+ rooms because it was not possible to save in between. Perhaps this could be changed?

random actions and encounters have a bit too much relevance in this game. Other than that, it's really enjoyble and well made :)

There's a glitch... at the moment I'm walking on the Lake- if I go too far left I end up walking on nothing but a blank white page
