You don't need to hatch the dragon in endless actually. The enemies will crack the egg for you, then you can feed it. Lots of time to get up to level 3 sheep.

Endless mode has a slightly rough start as you try to hatch before the first wave, plays well with increasing challenge for about 30 waves and then just hammers you into fleeing your lair over the next few waves. Anything with a ranged attack is going to be an issue for the dragon, especially if they have enough HP to withstand a breath attack because of the recharge time. At some point it's less "really tough" and just "the math says you die here" regardless of your stat growth.

@arch320 The air princess' skill damages the dragon as well, on top of enemies. Remember to disable it at set intervals

The basic concept is fun, and although it feels kinda wrong, I really enjoyed throwing the sheep and wolves over the cliff to be eaten. HOWEVER, everything else was a major letdown. I kept expecting the dragon to get up off his a$$ and fly or fight or anything. And then it was over and I'd won. Not a very exciting win, since I felt like the game never really got started in the first place.

I made it to level 35 the best way to do so is the grass/tree you need to build up your health and with the tree upgrading the apples gives you more health each time they drop.

Is it just me who gets creeped out by how happy the princesses are in captivity? They always smile, despite being taken from their homes and having their nations' soldiers killed, and money stolen.

For a true Vegan run (no wolves, no sheep eaten) you basically rely on fruit health bonuses and the Hoarder powerup. Have Businesswoman, leave for half an hour, come back and watch as Hoarder lets you deal marginally more damage. You can feed the dragon grass, fruit works too. Terror is all Amber can do without any wolves, and you cannot go past a certain level of sheep because it will result in excess sheep being eaten, thus violating the rules. If you lose but only by a little, you will generally gain cash. Elvine can work whichever way you want her to. Very long game if you are doing a Vegan Run, set aside half an hour or so and be ready for lengthy raids.
EDIT: You cannot go past the TEN sheep upgrade on a Vegan run. At 15 sheep, you must restart.

Listen Mr. Mage. I get that you want to defeat the dragon. It's a great thing to do. But it is getting stronger AS YOU ARE FIGHTING IT. It is getting ADDITIONAL HEALTH faster than you can damage it. Why are you still trying to fight it?!

Hmmm... now that I walkedthrough - what do I do with all the princesses? I mean, they're all not my type and despite their talents: THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO BRING ME BEER!!!!

To confused people: you need to use the fire breath to kill the archers, and wolves increase the attack of your dragon.

Nice game, if a little silent about how to start it. The hint is there, but took me about a min to figure out you need to drop sheep on the egg. Beyond that, it was nice and easy. Love the princess bonus, again, it was only out of curiosity that I discovered it. Lastly, that music! Lovely!!

To breed sheep, drop grass in the pen.
To get the egg to hatch, drop a sheep on it.
To get wolves, bring sheep over to them.
The rest you can figure out.

my suggestion to make this game alittle more enjoyable would be to add a second/third or perhaps passive projectile attack besides the dragons breath, or the leaf scatter, just so you don't waste those on the archers/mages. OR lower the cooldown on the breath/leaves so your not dying from an onslaught of ranged enemies.

Just made it to wave 26. Tips: Green princess, use the regen / defense when you eat grass. (Apples count, you don't need to manually feed grass.) Upgrade wolves L3 priority, to get it automated, and keep an eye on wolves, if too many get auto-fed to dragon it slows down. Do not summon waves early, instead let dragon eat wolves and apples. (Except first wave, summon immediately to upgrade grass level 3.) Once you get the storm princess, summoning waves early is probably good, need to experiment more.

Very hard to pass the 23th level.
My guess the princess that let you accumulate the time should come early, maybe before the gold princess.
So far my strategy:
start
- at the start, push twice to get the wave early (2 infantry) so they will smash the egg, while you rush the grass and easily made a couple of sheep.
- focus on the wolf production till the point they jump
- then balance the sheep production and the grass.
combat
- to maximise the money and the flame, I wait one wave then I rush the following one, to flame 2 waves at the time
- swap the green princess to get the damage reduction and the active spell
princesses
- gold princess useless, you need too much money to benefit of the bonus. Don't go below 10k, trying to keep 20k
- green princess spell swap
- fire princess spam fear managing the timing with flame and green spell
- air princess so far I couldn't benefit enough, for the damage you need a strong sheep output.
