But what if I *want* to stay on the moon? All alone? With no one ever seeing me again? And the TV stuck on a single channel of a show I hate? What if that is what I DESIRE?!
Well shit, sorry. I mean, I guess you could just, like, hang around the house, but it's not really the same thing. I really dropped the ball on that one, huh.

I'd love to see how much of the game have I actually completed in the end. Number of painting improved, all corners explored and so on...

You can actually open the refrigerator and enter an optional room inside it. A quick review : Puzzles are top-notched. The graphic style looks similar to mother series or suits:business rpg at first. But to me the setting is more close to yume-nikki 's fan game, where unrelated worlds are connected by some mysterious tunnel. I like this game but the second one has a more appropriate game-length and is more interactive. Still, congrats on successfully starting a wonderful series.

No way to change the controls for movement? WASD please! The arrow keys on my keyboard have an awful arrangement that makes them actively painful to use.

Can't finish. I spent half an hour stuck at the bit with the basement having tried all possibilities, obviously missing something, and the walk-through isn't actually a walk-through. Wont be playing the second game.

This is one of the best flash games I have ever played. I congratulate you for making one of the most wonderful series.
That's "Anci" by PengoSolvent! You can listen to the full track here: http://solarvagrant.tumblr.com/post/46222212835/anci-by-pengosolvent-heres-another-piece-of
The default button for using an item is X. You can get a list of controls by mousing over the controller icon in the top right corner of the game. The controls are also configurable from the title screen.

When you want to get somewhere and you do it by moving a couch instead of picking up the empty cardboard box in front of you.

Thank you Talmain. The game is amazing and almost all puzzles are very intuitive but that part was so stupid. Never seen a remote with screws.

remote controls usually don't have screws... the coin works because you can insert it to pop open the battery compartment.

This was a cool game. The puzzles made sense, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the world sparked my curiosity. I'm going to be following this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I love the style, music, solving puzzles, adventure, etc. I just could not save the game so had to repeat it a few times if I exited the browser- but this could've been my fault with flash settings I think. Anyways, thanks for creating a game that matched my tastes perfectly when i stumbled upon it while using tags! haha. also loved the drawing on pictures aspects : D

What you should do with towel? Most hard thing to solve. I think there should be any tip, because you must be lucky to find way out.

If not for the walkthrough I would still be stuck in the house holding a towel, staring at the oven, wondering where I could find a box cutter. *facepalm*

Honestly I ain't really a big fan of these 'escape the room' kind of puzzles
-probably mostly cause they are point and click which I hate and there is literally no entertainment while you click randomly around until something happens-
but this game is an exception!
It is really cool and entertaining!

Hey, I wanted o leave the house fully unprepared with the knowledge that this will kill me for sure but
"no" was the only option availlable :-(
