Using puzzle assets as tutorials and then re-using them in more challenging contexts later is great; more pure adventure games should do this.

Ironically, I can't change the controller settings because my up and down arrow keys are broken. Not that the game is bad, it's just that the exact keys that I have to use for the menu don't work.

I seem to be stuck. I have gotten the spring and the bucket from the shop, and caught the mouse to get the planks. The walkthrough shows that someone should appear in the area with the statues but no one is there in my game. Am I missing something or is this a bug in the game. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Glad you made easier to see which item I select to combine. Very nice game I enjoyed a lot. Hard to say nowadays with the games around

I really hope there are at least 25 more doors to open because I need more of these games. BEST FEATURE is definitely drawing on pictures and getting strange looks! Not to mention all the mystery...

Hm, I have to fight the Corkscrew Gang now? Better get any loose supplies. Maybe I can make something to fight them with...no? Nothing? Very well. With my trusty towel at the ready and my pencil in my hand, I shall fend them off! MY ALMIGHTY WEAPON SHALL DEFEAT THEM BY VIRTUE OF CAT DRAWINGS AND GRATUITOUS MUSTACHES! EN GARDE!
Controls are listed by mousing over the controller symbol on the top right corner of the game. They can also be configured from the main menu (under Options).

Anyone else have the problem with the robot in the hat in the park not being there when you need to go talk to them to give them the tools and parts?

So, I'm going to give the game a 4/5 because even if I'd had time (and a lot more patience) there are areas in the game which are really vague and really hard to figure out without the walkthrough. I'm not someone with a linear mind who can look at something and figure it out easily. Spock might be able to accomplish the logic parts easily, but I'm not Spock, lol. Thank you for your help!

Also, parts of that walkthrough are very frustrating to understand and caused additional chaos for me when trying to accomplish parts of it. I know in answer to someone's comments you were trying to give enough information to help people without fully revealing everything, but that's sort of the point of a walkthrough. The walkthrough is for those of us who are too stupid to figure things out on our own and continuously get stuck. We need step by step instructions to get through it. Anyway, I was enjoying your game, and I think if I wasn't on a time crunch because of Kongregate, I could have have definitely felt a whole lot more positive about it than I was yesterday. I don't know if Door 3 is up and running yet, but I am looking forward to trying it out when it is. I just think Kongregate made a mistake in including your game for the 2018 Kongpanion challenge. Your game is one which needs time and patience to get through and enjoy.

Thank you, Solarvagrant. Yes, I had cut him down, but I kept getting stuck when I was supposed to go downstairs to pour the bucket of water on the machine. I tried at least sixteen times to pour the water, but kept getting stuck every time. I missed the part in the walkthrough about reversing the belts.

I have the bucket of water, but every time I get downstairs as instructed by the WALKTHROUGH, it won't let me approach the machine without getting caught/seen by Cork/Beepy/whatever his name is and so I can't dump the water on the machine. WTF else am I supposed to do?! I need to complete this game before March 27th so I can get a missing Kongpanion!!!

Anybody else feel like Lassie whenever anyone talks to you? "What was that girl? Timmy fell in the well by the old abandoned mine?"

Even with the gates wide open at the end, I still chose to spring over them with the launcher... I wonder what that says about me
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm very frustrated. I bought the bucket, caught the mouse, gave the mouse to the correct robot, got the wooden planks, and now can't accomplish anything else. I'm just wandering around talking to people and trying to combine objects that aren't combinable, and can't acquire the screwdriver and the spring. How do I get those things!? And how do I get the water!?

Wow, it is super refreshing to see a dev comment on a response to their game over a year since it's release around here. Kudos to you, and great game!

Great, the keys that really matter can't be configured. I'm rather fed up with devs that are inconsiderate of left-handed gamers when it comes to control-schemes. 1/5 because of the bloody arrow keys being the only movement option.

I really liked this installment, however I think the idea of having to go back and have the friend buy something for you was really unintuitive. It might have just been because I did that part like 3 days after I did the majority of it and had forgotten all about the extra items in the shop, but I ever would have thought of that and needed to use a guide to figure out what to do there - maybe in the future you should consider incorporating a system of hints.
For what it's worth, there's a note in the break room about going out the front gate to buy snacks. Of course though, the more I think about it, that's not necessarily enough information to draw a conclusion about getting a wrench. I'll have to do better with the hints in Door 3.

I am quite aware that I needed to turn the lamp on, but I meant there was a glitch that would not let me so I reloaded the game and even then it only worked from the side.

hey developer! I need a tip how get throw this part. I'am a stuck a factory, when I save that robot ( I do not remmember his name right now) he was bound on gear. when I release robot and then he walk some time and just claps down. I need to save him this cork robot come to see us upstairs this factory. I go to controls to turn particular the other way round so the cork robot fly the machine? do I need some tool to help me to get working right? try to figure out what is the puzzle. I should be that hard I know that. I have ty many times and look up that how that need to solvet. but some way I do it wrong. also panel says to me: the switch is unresponsive. so something I'am doing wrong there.. I do not know what. eh I have try many times I hope U can help help me. this is my last Best Of 2017 Badges game. so I do not want to miss to get that 55 points. anyway I keep trying. hope I can throw before march 26th.
There's a set of panels near that switch, and one of them opens up to reveal some exposed wiring. Maybe if you patch those wires you could get that switch working? You'll need an item that you may not have on you. If you don't have that item, you'll have to backtrack a bit. You can get back to earlier parts of the factory by letting Aert or you get caught by Cork. Let me know if that helps!

Hey developer, where is Clove at the end of the game? You know, after you've solved the main conflict of the game? I've looked all over for her and can't find her anywhere. I want my robot disguise and all my stuff back. Also I want those boots. Also I wish I could go back and grab the windup car from the factory. I'm a hoarder. :U
Yeah, that sure is weird that you can't find her at the end of the game. Why is that.
Also, I almost DID let you keep the boots in the game! The only reason that I didn't do that was because I couldn't think of a good use for them, and I felt bad giving the player a red herring item.

Uhm I'm stuck at the point where I need to get the wrench to open the grate.. The robot girl doesn't go to the store to get that for me and I can't open the grate..Am I missing out something? :|

I really wish there was an autosave feature ;__; I have so much trouble remembering to save and my laptop closed the tab right when I was doing the rescue and I want to cry because now I have to start over ;__;

I love this game it has a good story and it's not to difficult. I like the art style and how you interact with the others in the world. I hope a third game comes out in the future. Also to the developer you have done a great job so far keep it up. :)
