I tried to install the steam version, but apparently that doesn't work on Linux Steam version.

The updates field says there's an update today; but it seems buggy, my hacks cap was going up every second, and there's nothing which should cause that. So I'm just not gonna play today and wait a day or 3.

Most idle games involve slavery or the employment of poor people, i dont see any slavery or labor after playing for 2 years. Better improve on this.

Sorry to hear about the update problems. As a hardcore Linux user, I guess I'm stuck; the Steam version isn't Linux-compatible, and Kartridge isn' Lix-compatible at all. I'll get as far as I can and then move on, I guess.

Ok, working on the shift to steam; what's up with the sales though? When I loaded up the client from steam and got the save to load, the Sellout Shop sales items don't seem to have change at all. I thought the reason the sales on the kong site hadn't changed was because of the update difficulties; shouldn't the sales on the up to date version have rotated?

Hey 4G, thank you for all the work you put in on this over the years. This is still the absolute top tier idle game that I recommend to people. I've played it off and on for... 3 years I think? I can't wait to get the Steam version!

Figured out the problem, was looking in the wrong folder and also the Kong web version saves the file without an extension so you have to manually change it to a .txt file.

Uh any way to use Kong saves on the Steam version? I don't have a problem switching, but it'll suck to have to completely restart just as I beat Walderp for the first time.

Well, thank you 4G for the greatest Idle Game has been ever produced. I hopefully can play until I reach all the limits, currently, after a few years halfway to Sadistic and I will keep going here, possibly I will migrate to Steam, I believe updates there should be fine. Don't give up and I see you on NGU hidden shit, as well as on other of your games (if they will come, and they should!).

@catgravy: the game doesn't have to be maximized as long as it isnt hidden behind a maximized screen it runs. See the link to see what I mean https://prnt.sc/166vmwp

nonamenymous: It does NOT run behind other windows unless it is maximized and the other windows in front of it are smaller so it does not lose "focus" on NGU Idle. I do this all the time. In fact I am doing it right now. Maybe this helps you.

game is a primitive fraud - Time to level up 5:50 - i minimize window, to do something else - look at clock counting 60 seconds - i maximize game window - Time to level up 5:42 - it is not like stupid, but epically stupid

I've entered the sadistic difficulty a few weeks ago; still enjoying the game a lot but I (we) could do with some updates @somethingggg

@RickyRatte I hope so. I was addicted to this game in 2020, back when updates were doing good. I returned to this great game in May, and I was disappointed that there were no updates. Hopefully 4G isn't being lazy and is working hard update.
