Not sure if it affecting my broken time machine's effectiveness or not but the "highest boss multiplier" is stuck at 38 despite being on boss lvl 65.

Bug(?): When using Special Boosts (that are larger than 1) on items with multiple Special Effects, if the boost is larger than the amount needed to max the first Special Effect, the extra is wasted and does not roll over into the next Special Effect on the item. This isn't a big deal for items that are relatively easy to get to level 100 but for the Ascended Forest Pendant, it is a bit of a pain since I'm constantly upgrading that one over and over.
Example: If I have 199/200 and 0/200 for my Special Effects and I apply a +5 Special Boost, I'd expect to see my Special Effects to become 200/200 and 4/200. Instead, I just get 200/200 and 0/200, effectively wasting +4 Special Boost. Ideally any extra would roll to the next effect automatically. :)

Boost Merging seems to need *way* too much investment to be worthwhile.
It should, from the get-go, be better on-average than not doing it.

Noticing the Total Enegery Bars, do you get extra bars at 100, 150, 200, etc energy speed? To effectively multiply the per bar upgrades.

Charge shoot: can't upgrade, it costs too much and I'm not getting that much gold in a reasonable time frame. And even if I could upgrade it the difference would be very small, unlikely to even let me defeat one more boss. All the other upgrades multiplying stats multiplier are 100% useless, but even then they are extremely expensive, not affordable even. Advanced exoskeleton I unlocked days ago but there is no way I could buy it. And... even if I could buy it, it would allow me to defeat a single extra boss... very worth it. Gold multiplier? Even after dumping thousands of exp into magic I would still need 3 hours to get it to level 2, and we know that wouldn't make a difference. I even have difficulties keeping up with gold cost of the slowest blood spell, let's not talk about every casting anything higher. Bleah.

If you want us to grind levels for more ascended forest pendants it would greatly help to be able to filter drops for pendants and rings separately. :)
(Also, anyone know what the max level is? Is it really 100 again?)

@3g, yes obv I have. There is no way I am getting trillions of gold anytime soon unless I spend 10s of k of exp to be able to upgrade time machine a lot more and a lot faster.

Something is definitely weird with offline gold gain. I came back and loaded up my save from last night and had about 56 billion gold. I rebirthed and then realized I forgot to throw everything in the money pit so I reloaded my save from before the rebirth and only have about 9 billion now. And it happened with both the online save and locally saved file (to make sure it hadn't autosaved after some had been spent that I wasn't aware of).
I had a bug in calculating gold costs for time machine when offline. if you had a time machien upgrade running offline it probably sucked up all your gold. will be fixed in the next build!

I'm totally blocked by gold. I can't upgrade a lot of stuff I unlocked because of gold and there is no way to make more gold that doesn't include using tens of thousands of exp. I'm sure those speed runners have been put in their place, can regular players advance in the game too or should we just move on?

note: the manual save not working only started (for me) when you updated to using online saves, so gut reaction is that it has to be related somehow.

@4G regarding saves: I have noticed that if there is no internet connection (and thus no connection to your server), the manual save does not work; clicking the button does nothing. This seems very similar to the whitelisting/blocking problems others are having. Since the whole point of the manual save is to prevent loss of data when the online save fails, any chance you can disassociate the manual save entirely from needing a connection to work? If I lose net/server connection, I want to be able to make a manual save so as not to lose progress. Hope that makes sense.

When leveling wandoos is result rounded (and how) or i can simply consume every wandoos item and get bonus when it's time. And do "42" leveling works same way?

found the manual saving problem. I whitelisted kong in uMatrix and it worked. I think there is a call to a host that is not showing up in uMatrix. Can you load a 1px image or something from that same host so that we can whitelist your url easier?
the time machine is based off of looping a gold drop from adventure over and over. if you've never gotten a gold drop that rebirth, no gold from the time machine!

May we have a Power/Toughness/Special auto merge setting? It would be SO, SO much better when trying to leave your computer in idle mode with auto merge mode on.

wandoos leveling guide is not full. Can you explain it better? I consume wandoos lvl 9 to my wandoos level 1 and get level 4.
you need to consume X levels on your wandoos item to level up to X. so you remove (2+3+4) levels from your level 9 wandoos and got levelled up from 1=>2, 2=>3, and 3=> 4.

Quick heads up for people who use noscript or similar, with the latest updates the game won't save or even manually save without allowing access to nguidle.com. I just lost a day of grinding basic challenges to this :(

so this auto merge is useless as 60 minutes, needs to be 60 seconds to be effective. Also the loot filter does not work.

The online save predictably didn't work. And since the regular Save button didn't generate a downloadable save as it did before the update, I've lost the previous night's progress and it doesn't look like there's any point in trying to make any more progress unless/until this issue gets worked out.

I have thought of a better way to balance (nerf) speedrunning than Build 0.352. Currently it is "must wait 3 minutes before next rebirth". I suggest that we remove this constraint, and add another penalties to rebirths of less than 3 minutes:
A rebirth less than 3 minutes will not receive the 1 flat reduction to Energy to cap training speed, and in the next rebirth, bosses 2 to 7 will not give exp. If a rebirth takes more than 3 minutes, then in the next rebirth, bosses 2 to 7 will give exp. That way, people can still grind exp if they would like to.

@4G I know previous runs' stats dont factor into current; none of them do, but they are useful for figuring out why the current run is more/less than the previous. ALL of my listed stats were equal or higher than the previous run, yet my NUMBER for the current run was 1/10th the previous run. The only factor I could not compare was TLF. So unless it also tracks mob kills, Adv Trains, amount of loot, gold earned, or something like that (as a hidden factor) TLF is the culprit. I havent noticed the other stuff making a difference before, but I havent focused in on it either.
well actually, both the rebirth time factor and boss factor of the last rebirth DO factor into the next run's number calculation, just not last training factor. For display purposes i could definitely add it in though.

I just wanted to comment and say you have made a great game. I really have no critiques because it seems like you have everything covered. If I were to critique, I want my energy points to go up faster, but that's on me to upgrade that part. But really, I give it 5 stars. very entertaining and has made me come back to play it 3 days in a row so far.
<3 thank you so much! once you start gaining momentum on that exp engine (rebirth and climbing to farm the exp drops) you'll start rolling in the energy gains. plus, adventure gear has some bonuses for that!

Also, Training Level Factor (last rebirth) is missing, and has been for a couple of updates. All of my stats are higher this run than last run, yet my NUMBER is drastically lower. I suspect the difference is in the TLF, but can't verify without the stat.

@4G: It takes 25~26 mins to unlock the ultimate attack/block skills. This is an absolute time limit and cannot (AFAIK) be reduced in any way. SUGGESTION: When a tier is reduced to 1 cap, the next tier's threshold receives a reduction. *OR* you receive a blanket reduction on all tiers' thresholds based on total number of tiers reduced to 1 cap. Either would drastically speed this up, especially the higher tiers.

Augments appears to run slower than indicated. I'm counting about 1.5 seconds for every second the computer says is going by.
it's likely because ngu is on a tab you've tabbed away from. chrome/firefox/other browsers will throttle any tab not in the front and focused. The trick is to pull the tab with ngu onto its own window. that'll prevent slowdown.

For those who look down here for advice... don't do what I did and try to merge boosts like power boosts... it only combined then but didn't increase their power or anything. Don't be like me, don't waste them!

Is there any way for you to capture the home/end keys when the focus is in a textbox? Jumping to the end of the kongregate page when I just want to clear the input in a text box is a slight annoyance, but definitely not a priority issue. Thanks!

There really needs to be a better way to upgrade the stats of items, right now its incredibly tedious needing to click and drag literally hundreds of times. If D + Click is a thing, maybe S, P, T + Click could all be as well?

The rebirth calculations are unclear in the extreme. They feel very broken and frustrating. My current NUMBER is 7E+40. My current rebirth timer is over an hour. And if I rebirth I am going to LOSE 97%. My rebirth number will be 2.3E+39. WTF? Ok, I have less Blood magic bonus than last rebirth, but that does not appear to remotely explain a 97% drop. I'm a math geek, and I can't begin to figure out how Time Factor, Training Level Factor, or anything else works on the rebirth calculation.
