@Sparkworkz Awesome game =D Thanks for making a second and giving all of the levels we get. One suggestion if you make another... Could you make it so we can turn the rods transparent? Sometimes i make massive contraptions for the lolz but i can't see the joints and stuff when i need to make adjustments...
@Evi1M4chine Strange, it only lags for me when i make a really big contraption, try turning the simple graphics on with the button in the bottom left of the screen.

So it might just be my computer or something, but this game is completely f*cked up. The shift-drag and control-drag just don't work, and the game seems to be... well, f*cked.

the developers didnt suddenly 'get greedy'. even the first fantastic contraption game was the same pay-for-own-levels.

@ Aerofluff, stop crying because you have to pay for some content. You still got to play a properlength (great) game.So Apperantly not evryone finds a few nice comments a good enough reward for weeks/months of hard work and want to make some money out of there game. And besides that you still could to play 21 well made lvls with nothing asked in return. Just be glad with what you can play instead of bitching about what you can't.

Big middle finger for you folks downrating comments complaining about shareware / having to pay. Much as I like Fantastic Contraption, stuff like that doesn't need to be on Kongregate. This place should be for finding free Flash games to enjoy, not a market to advertise your newest product to. Nor do I like the idea that Kongregate (via kreds) is making money off of us, by essentially selling this player base to game developers looking to make money. Flash games are usually of such poor quality that they're never worth purchasing; if you can produce a Flash game of the same quality as Starcraft 2, with exceptional art and gameplay, then I'll buy it.

To Zoronii, the reason you have to pat is because it's a NEW GAME. You don't see people getting Grand Theft Auto for free because they bought an earlier one.

Wow... The game cost money because the maker needs money. The maker makes games as a job. He makes people pay to play, so he gets money. He needs money for food. He needs food to eat.

Well that is Freaking stupid... dont get me wrong, i love the game, but you can only do like a quarter of the levels on kongregate and also for everything else you have to Friggen pay... i liked Fantastic Contraption 1 better because of this. Also, When you go to the Homepage of FC2 the "http://www.sparkworkz.com/fc2/" link, you only get 4 more out of the Friggen 50 that are missing. because of all this, i'd rate it 0/5 but you cant so 1/5.

I am not signing up so that I can save my game, and I am not buying something that I can't touch and feel! At least when you buy real video games, you get trade in value later on. With these flash games that are SUPPOSED to be FREE, you get NOTHING.

while incredibots may be a bit tougher it still lets u create more freely while in fantasic contraption ur given a starting point and limited sources. Overall both games r great but in thier own ways.

I think fantastic contraption is better than incredibots simply because it takes ages to build a proper bot in incredibots, because its very unforgiving, if you build a bot that doesn't work, well 2 bad start over or delete half of it While in fantastic contraption you start with a prototype and can make tiny agjustments to get it perfect in the end. So even tough incredibots has way more options of building, I like this game better since there isn't such a gigantic gap between having an solution and making a solution.

my experience with this game has been well beyond terrible
1. i played the game and thought it was very fun
2. after beating level 21 i was told "go to this website, you can play for free!"
3. i went to the website and beat lvl 21 again because i thought it just didnt go through yet that i beat the level
4. the website came up with another popup saying "register and you can play for free!"
5.i registered and went back in to the game and had to play lvl 21 one more time
6. after beating lvl 21 three times it says "you can play for free if you give us $15!"
What the hell is this bulls***!? i was told i could play for free and then you go and change your mind? F*** this god awful waste-of-$15-game if you want money for a game make a real one not a F***ing FLASH GAME!
and that was my rant on this horrendous excuse of a way to gain money for whatever corporation makes it.
