Sitting on 110 Dyson Spheres as using them at 50 to gain 5k energy is essentially a waste if the Dyson Spheres do not reset in cost. Even using 100 Dyson Sections for 25k energy is almost a waste as the dyson section cost starts to become ridiculously high if you have to start all over (without the dyson cost resetting) in order to reach 250 to make the sphere. So... if you do make the ring or swarm with the first 200, can you opt to take the ring/swarm apart and reutilize those to make the sphere after reaching the 250 total dyson sections necessary?
The dyson costs do reset. They are based on the number you have, not the total number you've produced.

Want infinite energy? Tired of slow item gains? Want that miracle that makes energy generation absolutely broken? Here is your simple guide! Simply get a rocket, go to Venus, and you'll notice 2 things. Methane is a generator (A in it requires nothing to get, unlike charcoal) AND the methane generator produces more power than it requires to buy the Suction extractor. Just start your infinite rotation of buying suction extractor and methane power station. have fun with 999999/s resources because of this.
You still have to build the machines with resources, and the energy gain isn't that great compared to the resource cost when you start building a lot of them

I have to craft meteorites with energy, wtf? Meteorite isnt even a material, its a nondescript piece of matter from space that contains a variety of elements. Making them doesnt make any sense

not bad for pre v1.0, but please, let us get at least a portion of the materials back when we destroy something, sure a 100% refund isn't really reasonable, but getting nothing back isn't really reasonable either

I just noticed that when I had 7 uranium and bought one nuclear power station, my uranium per second dropped to -1, not zero. I do have +23% from Research Efficiency, but if that increases resource spending as well as resource income, then it isn't very efficient after all.

Energy caps at 100,000. When you build a battery to double storage it finally gives you a visible cap, but it's still 100,000.

Just a small mistake (i guess?): Version number of game (v0.4.3 beta) isn't the same as in your GitHub changelog. It seems like we are playing on v0.4.4 instead.
kongregate is having issues updating the game. Hopefully, I will find the source of this soon. Fortunately, most of the features of 0.4.4 were already implemented and it was just a few bug fixes

I think I may be getting a bug. Since I had explored Kuiper Belt, I haven't been able to unlock meteorite as a resource. Even when I progressed further, and researched plasma, I still wasn't able to unlock plasma as a resource.
Did you research it, or just unlock the research in the sol center? If you truly think it is a bug, even after reloading the game, post it here with a save file: https://github.com/sparticle999/SpaceCompany/issues

It's a sweet game, I really enjoy the progression. Feels very balanced (no extremely slow resource that bottlenecks progress). One note: the notification that shows up after you do energy-mass transfer appears RIGHT over the convert buttons, making multiple conversions really annoying.

To the developer: Major bug found when destroying/selling machines:
Obviously destroying machines doesn't give a refund, but it also doesn't decrease the cost of re-purchasing either. That means that potentially players who make high-tier machines accidentally, and then destroy them, will have exorbitantly high costs for all future machines. It also makes switching between resources temporarily not an option.

It would be great if the resource selection and the resource upgrade part had seperate scroll bars. Once you have a lot of different resources it's annoying to have to scroll down to select a resource and then have to scroll back up to buy new collectors for that resource.

I'm getting a bug i have 200 meteorite and trying to upgrade the storage but the (200) is red telling me i don't have 200 meteorite as a result all progression as stopped.
This is a known and fixed bug, but Kongregate isn't updating the game for some reason. I'll try and find the source of this. For now, just convert 1 meteorite and it should be fixed.

Love the game. But the early game goes way too fast. I feel like I'm researching a dozen technologies that I have no time to even care what they do. Quite overwhelming.

Destroying a building that consumes resources doesn't stop the consumption of those resources. That's... pretty friggin' major now that I have a bunch of negatives that I basically can't counteract at this point.

Hi Alex. Great game! It really scratched an itch for me. :D I do agree with the people saying there is much white space, but you already know that.
But what I'd really would like to see would be a timer next to each resource that would say how long it would take for the storage to be completely filled (or emptied) according to your current rates.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I really enjoy this game. :D

you should move the buy 1, gather 1, upgrade storage, etc buttons next to the big titles so they occupy a single line, that would save a lot of space. for example: Charcoal [Convert 1] [Turn Production Off]

If you can't upgrade storage on Meteorites - convert 1 plasma. Seems to be a bug that shows the amount but needs 1 more.

Is there a way to disable the autosave notification? I've been looking through the options and didn't find any, and the pop up is really annoying and is not needed.
Also, the compressed rows in the sidebar really should be enabled by default, the game looks so much better and so much less scrolling is needed, it's really baffling it's off by default.

Why is everything in this universe built out of gems?
All my drills are made of gems, my labs are made of gems, my power plants are made of gems. MY GEM EXTRACTION FACILITIES ARE MADE OF GEMS. Its just gems all the way down and it feels like a huge bottleneck on everything

This is a small bug with kongregate. I'm trying to get it fixed, but for now, you can just use the convert 1 button to max your storage and it will work.
You only need one rocket for the whole game. You simply fly there and back and can reuse it if you have enough rocket fuel to explore the other planets.

Nice start, but as others have pointed out the scrolling makes this rather difficult to play, especially on a laptop with solely a mousepad. Your layout is very vertical, and a lot of your elements would be better placed inline (horizontally). For example, the purchase buttons can be horizontal to the name of the item being purchased. The padding of the resource rows can be reduced by 2 pixels as well. A small shave can really make a large difference. Finally while you are working on the layout I suggest adding your own splash of color - this game visually looks no different than the other Bootstrap idle games out there.
There are graphics options in the More Tab if you would like to customise the look. There are options to change the theme and colour scheme, as well as compress the resource rows. However, I will take your suggestions into account for future design changes

I think out of the gate the game is quite good. I agree with much of the suggestions so far. A grab-scroll method would be useful, as opposed to the clumsy mouse scrolling, which usually ends up scrolling the whole window. Also, the "Game saved" popup isn't necessary, and a bit annoying. Would be better to have it as an inline message at the top. Looking forward to the updates.
That is because briefly, you have 0 methane, and your methane energy cannot run. This will be fixed soon when the next update, changing the storage costs, comes out.

I just built a reactor and within about 15 seconds, it stopped producing energy (while still consuming the resources to produce the energy). Pretty big bug

plus i just had a complicated bug: 10 helium drones and 10 hydrogen collectors with RE#19 produce 12 each (rounded!?! why? never round up in a game like this pls). my fusion reactor should take 10 but uses all 12 (RE bug) so there is no income (+0/s) in helium/hydrogen. its storage was full so i upgraded it using all helium/hydrogen > storage 0. suddelny my fusion reactor stops to work and i miss 273 energy. problem is probably that HE/H input * RE = 11.9 but gets displayed as 12. the reactor should also uses 11.9 with the RE bug but somehow would like to have the rounded 12 instead. is it possible you didnt seperate the displayed numbers and the actual math properly? if you know what i mean... sry, just want to help :)

Gotta say, I think this sort of game requires too much waiting not to be running while offline. Also, the meteorite printer turns itself on when you restore a save. (After being offline.)
