You definitely want to warn people that right clicking will remove the last placed building, and not give you anything for it.
Thanks for the feedback, the right click was meant to be an option for the player to cancel the selection before placing. With all the testing I did, I hadn't picked up the fact that the right click also occurred after placing. I'll fix this bug and make clear in the instructions. Aside from that how did you find the game? It was my first attempt at making a game. UPDATE: Issue now resolved.

Taycarts, I've actually just tried what you suggested a few times in different browsers but each time the 'Resume Game' button is greyed out as it should be so this is a bit odd. In any case I think there is something further I can do in an update which will hopdefully act as a fail safe. There are other updates I'm planning so rather than doing them one by one I will work on them all now and make an update hopefully in a few days. I'll put a post in the game news section to let you and everyone else know whats coming up.

Here's an interesting bug for you..
1) Load GQL.
2) Click "Start" button.
3) Click "Resume" button. ( You see all planets in full colour. )
4) Click "Back" button. ( You are now on Luthonia with 99,999,999 of every resource. )
Only one problem, you can't do anything. You can only click the "Ship" and "Transfer" buttons. Nothing else works not even the Menu button.
You are forced to reload the game.
Thought you might like to know.
Reguards, Tac :)
Taycarts, Thanks for the bug report, that is an interesting one, I will look into that immedately. That sounds like an issue with a PlayerPref as the Resume button should only be highlighted if you have already started/loaded a game.

That explains a lot. Thank you for responding so thoroughly. The greyed-out menu thing must have been left over after the unaffordable building had been hidden. Of course I checked all the costs while trying to understand why I couldn't build the gold mine. This was a new colony, so no ships were being built yet. We'll have to assume it was due to low population, because I expected the barracks to produce daily like your other buildings, but probably with a cap. The one-off population boost seems unusual to me, but it's up to you of course. So with that in mind, I suggest put trends next to each resource (i.e. "Gold 1234 +2/day") and add something in the instructions to highlight how the barracks work differently. Typing a number is not so bad, but it would be better to have shortcuts like a simple button to "send all", or some fraction. SolarMax did the best example I can think of. Thank you for hearing feedback! This is gonna be great!
Thanks again for the feedback, some good ideas there that I will work on and build into the next update.
