SPOILER ALERT! The game should tell you that you need to use google and access real sites. You can't complete the game with just the information from the game.

what language is that at the end? I went to try to translate, I swear I recognize it from somewhere, but I couldn't find it in any of the old alphabets.

The puzzles were simple but enjoyable. The storyline was not good: the many spelling and grammar errors killed the realism, and the tone of "this is a test I left for you, go solve it" is lazy and uncreative.

Very fun game, with some minor issues. Small grammatical errors, and some inconsistency with names (Gurton/Gurdon, also Obrian/Obrien). And the religious puzzle, it does matter what version of a bible you check. For example, a King James wont read the same as NIV, and you wont get the password. Maybe have NIV on the chalkboard somewhere too.

Haven't gotten to the end yet but (possible spoiler alert):
Strong portal foreshadowing (this was a triumph [Still Alive], cake lie hello [Cake is a lie], it's an AI that has defended it self)

I like this kind of game. Finally a good one here again. Though the newspaper thing got me really mad. It wasn´t finding the newspaper but switching back sensation where it should be. :) Nice challenge after all.

Awesome game! Very well done, the voice acting is great, the puzzles are awesomely outside-the-box! One of the few puzzle games I actually made the effort to pull through without a walkthrough. 5/5

Ok, so I'm actually looking at the Chicago Tribune Archives. I'm staring right at page 23 in the August 13, 1931 issue. There are no ads. It's the stock section.
Did I think TOO out of the box?

Love the game. Reminds me off Hacker Evolution from Exosyphen Studios. The only thing I wish this game had though is a save function. It takes longer than I had anticipated and my browser did crash once. Otherwise incredible. 5/5

ok one thing i'm missing ... a save function -_- i was very far and my browser just crashed and i have to do it all again -_-

I'm reading the runes as mu:database:studiocime:som. Even the runes have typos in them. The real website is mu.databse.studiocime.com, which shows a date of 11/24/14 08:00:00am.

I'm very reminded of those old times where you had to know your DOS commands instead of clicking into windows to get your programs working...

really good game, but 2 things separate it from 5 stars: 1: no save function 2: spelling/grammar mistakes, especially when they are read out by lya.

At last I finally managed it. Stevedoor and Marcjohanson(?) have very tricky riddles. Especially Marc since I can't read music.
Oh and to save everyone some headache (without spoiling): Stevedoor's hint is 2 puzzles in one. That's all I can say.

Fun game with some nice references. A bit easy though. Only downside is that I saw "vi: command not found. Use help to list available commands." a bit too much :D

I went through every single file to get the name of computer in level 2. I tried these: matthoward, mhoward, amoon, ariannemoon, rchild, ryanchild, schenziel and I even tried ??????. None of these work, so 1/5, smartass.

So for those you can't figure out the birthday here's a few hints you don't get a email to yourself on your birthday and Two the birthday.jpg HELPS A LOT

Being a fan of ouverture-facile this game is a piece of cake, but still nice. People who liked that game and the "hacker" feeling might also enjoy intrusion (on muxxu dot com) ...

Haven't finished yet, but it's quite fun thus far. Biggest problem: typos. This game is riddled with them, and I'd appreciate if they were fixed.
