Is there a way to solve the Chicago Tribune newspaper problem without using outside sources? I figured it out but I had to google, "TV companies from 1961."

This game is fantastic. And all the outside references made it so much more fun! (I was a little surprised about mapleton being a password, though, it's such a small city -- i'm not even sure it's a city -- that i was almost wary to use it.)

Security practices at this place are seriously terrible. If I was their administrator I'd probably have talked HR into firing most of these people by now.

I know how to read Anglo-Saxon runic, so I was hoping I'd understand the runic at the end. Alas, it's not Anglo-Saxon, as far as I can tell.

How do people find out the password I had to go on youtube to watch a walkthrough of the game. Again, how do people figure out the password stuff!

Is it me or the last puzzles are really easy? They are just encryptions googled in few seconds or rehash of old puzzles. Unless you tried to decode ASCII code by yourself, of course. The camera/light is the most difficult puzzle, others are too easy. Despite that solid game 5/5. Would love next part

Here's the link to the Chicago Tribune Ads...
It is indeed on that page...I'm impressed.
You can thank me later :P

I enjoyed the game alot, it was just the right amount of difficult. I misunderstood the password part and got to hung up on the mails, he called her his daughter and also said take care of her, she can take care of herself. The use of those words made it seem like the mail was more important than it actually was. Only real bad thing I have to say, forcing people to look to use outside sources is really annoying and ruins a bit of the immersion.

The runescript at the end and beginning makes no sense since its scrambled up on different type of runescripts
But wouldnt surprise me if you tried to make Mu:Complex Episode One

Neat little game. It plays similarly to NotPr0n, except with a command prompt. Now that we're all acquainted, I think it's okay if you ramp up the challenge in part 2! :)

***** DEFINITELY (likely the fastest 5star i ever gave.) kinda miss theres no 6star option... Why is this game so good? well, because it's nothing alike anything i had ever seen/played. when u think of a puzzle game u think of games where u need to go from X to Y, get some lines not crossing each other, etc. This is nothing like that. Besides, it has a wonderful and intriguing story making u want to get to the next step to find out more. I haven't finished game and i kinda hope i never do ;) also hope u release a second one :D
As for suggestions to improve, i can only think about the photo/camera thing. it would be nice if u could move the photo around (or some sort of minimize) and would also be nice if u could type commands while camera is on (just like you can when a photo is on)
thanks for this wonderful experience

Amazing game! I think it's kind of funny that when you look up Chicago Tribune Archives, they have a direct link to August 13, 1961.

Well, it is a good game. But I would say the commands help and error says too much. And the last level was too out of game logic (it is too easy and do not respond to the story). But still great and waiting to the next episode :)

This was a fun game, brought back all my programming nostalgia with cat and ls.
I used ls way more that I probably should have though xD it's just a reflex to type that in.
All the puzzles were moderately fair, though some hand holding was there and I disliked how some commands, like sudo were taken out on some computers because that command was unneeded. It kinda felt like it was handholding me and instructing me which tools to use.
Aside from that though, I thoroughly enjoyed it =) thank you for the game

I just can't believe that it ends so fast!!!! I love the puzzles, especially the camera and the newspaper ones~ but the final six seem to be a bit easy.

Okay, so I found 09, 01-13, 12-25-01. Are there any more numbers I need? Because so far, the only letters I have are IALYAL. I thought maybe I was missing some numbers and maybe the word was diagonally and that was the password, but that didnt work.
