I'm finding that the game is not loading my save file. I get to the screen where it asks if I'd like to load or restart, but neither clicking or keystrokes lets me choose. I was enjoying it somewhat, but I guess now I can't finish :/

getting into the airlock...I had been trying to figure out whether you were going there for a few levels, but indeed you went there. gg wp

i can't manage to solve the newspaper thing, even with checking the site of chicago tribunal. Having to do something like that also isn't that smart in a game. There will always be people playing the game some years after the release and for them it could be quite a lot harder than it already is.

For the cipher text, excel with CODE and CHAR functions makes life a lot quicker than doing them by hand--and I bet google spreadsheets has those functions as well. Great game, well-executed. Probably not as difficult for us kids that grew up in the days of command prompts (probably the easiest "hard" kong badge I've earned), but fun nostalgia.

*SPOILERS*
Okay, so everyone was talking about how hard the newspaper thing was, the second message kind of gave it away, i just googled the newspaper and found the page with the code on it

Juxtapositionly, have you ever played Portal? iF not, a quick google of it and one of those words you found will clarify the other one (that you got wrong) :)

It's been ages since I last had to take proper notes during a game. Thanks for reawakening the note-taking (and map-making) kid in me

Am I the only one that couldn't read what it said on the camera view? CAKE - UE - HELLO? I couldn't decipher it because UE is suppose to be 3 letters, but I cant distinguish what they are. There´s no way to zoom it in either and the browser zoom doesn't zoom in the game portion.

I have an issue on Level 6, ccm 02 won't let me switch to richardmillis. What's up? I pulled up a walkthrough and followed and it still won't work!! DX

This is awesome. I haven't even finished playing it yet (barely scratched the surface really) and already I think this might be my favorite game on this site. Great work! I look forward to more.

It's funny, because in my security class we're learning Linux and all the commands from this game are pretty much word for word the same as they are in Linux.

This game reminds me a lot of hackRUN! Really love these kinds of games. Could you maybe add an additional note function so that we could record passwords/ bits of information (4's change to 0's) so that we won't have to keep moving back and forth to remember? Other than that, a really great game! Keep it up! :)

That was a hard badge? I solved all of those puzzles in 15 minutes and didn't even need a walkthrough. The first camera room could have used some work to make it less tedious. Easiest 30 points ever on Kong.

Fantastic game that necessitates the practice of critical thinking beyond the ordinary constraints of linear approaches. One has to be able to think sequentially, but on multiple layers simultaneously. All in all, a pleasant and enjoyable experience. My only gripe is that some of the legs of the journey required contact with information outside of the game, but that is nothing more than a matter of research tedium.

Sorry, it's nice what you've made, I just couldn't be bothered playing it because it was too much like being at work.

Very well done! Hopefully part 2 will be just as good. I do not know what you do for a day job, but games like this can help students learn the basics of programming and logic. You might consider shopping this to the local junior highs as a primer for computer classes. You might even make a little money from it. Good luck

Idk why but I was so anxious/scared when I played this game, it must have been something to do with not knowing what would happen next/constantly thinking that something scary would happen. But all in all, excellent game that made me think. 5/5

Highly, highly enjoyable game because of the thought that went into the story behind it. The game is fraught with spelling, usage, and style problems in the text, but the great story made these easy to forgive. The game play was pure nostalgia for anyone who used computers before everything had a GUI in front of it. Yes, there were anachronisms if this was supposed to reflect a computing environment in the sixties, but the good outweighed the bad here. My one complaint was the Chicago Tribune puzzle was not a puzzle. It was a homework assignment. I expect solutions to be achievable solely in-game, and I think that was a design misstep -- or else you weren't as explicit about it up front as you should have been. I'm looking forward to the next installment to see where the door goes. Keep the ideas flowing!
