I like the hacker angle, I am looking forward to episode 2. It was rather difficult I had to look for help to understand the paper, but once I found out that it literally has you utilize a web browser to find information (VERY CREATIVE) I was able to piece the rest of it together. Very Well Constructed!

The runes at the very end appear to be standard medieval norse runes, which you can easily see a chart in the 'Runes' artical on wikipedia.

Just so that everyone knows, because I did not know when I started playing, you will end up looking on the web for random things. So don't think that they give you all the information you need in the game, sometimes you need to look things up on the internet (and no, not the gameplay guide ;P)

one of the passwords is problematic..I never ran across the word in any of the translations when I finally saw it in the walkthrough(even tried the original words).

Okay, first review i write in kongregate. This game is awesome! So simple yet so complex. Great ideas and very creative. Please, be careful with episode 2. If you can create a new game with new puzzles, it would be great. But, be aware that gamers will try some of the same things they saw here. Thinking outiside the box. If you can make it harder next time, it will be even a more difficult challenge, than this.

Absolutely fantastic game.
The athmosphere was wonderful, the story well written, the narrative nicely executed & the puzzles innovative, varying and fun.
Love the concept and am really looking forward to part 2.

really great game! But what is the last picture in the vid? I first thought it was runes but it does not form a word and some symbols are mirrored or do not exsist. I am just curios ;).

Some of the last puzzles are just a straight letter-number cipher (a=1, b=2) and are easy as pie, yet some of the ones in the middle are really difficult and require you do go way out of your way to find the information in ways I wouldn't expect. Seems incongruous.

Not tremendously hard. Surprisingly fun considering staring at a terminal resembles life a bit closely. I love the gradual reveal of the story. The puzzles are satisfyingly difficult without being frustratingly difficult, a really hard spot to hit. Well done.

nice game btw, extensive usage of a browser is highly recommended, I couldnt power up marcjohan computer (my music education sucks)

I love theese kinds of puzzles, this is definitely one of those games which you go to bed and think of till you sleep, and of course dream of. If you are lucky you might figure something out! (Don't underestimate your brains power at night, in many ways it is working better then awake.)

Some of these answers are just insane! I had to google some and, tbh, it makes the game so much more interesting that way. As a sysad, this is a great way to learn skills!
