Source code of the site translated from the text at the end. Has a comment. "OgUMGU0EHk0ZBQwZTQMCBB4ITSwqLCQjUgo=". Looks like a hash but I can't figure out which kind. Base64 it looks like but the output is nothing of important from what I can tell ":MMMM,*,$#R". Someone PM me if you have any ideas please. These sorts of things drive me crazy.

I looked in the Chicago Tribune archives and all I could find on page 23 of the 08/13/61 newspappper was a story about a swimmer, an ad for baby lotion/powder, an ad for a foot pad to prevent callouses, and an ad on how to shrink hemorrhoids without surgery
someone just tell me the damn name please

Liked the game. Got the achievement. BUT after entering the last password the only thing that happened - got a blank space after the command line and then again the command line. and can still enter commands etc... No videos or pictures to identify the end of part one. Is that the way it's supposed to be?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, so I was at level 3 and beat it. And the achievement was awarded for saying I beat level 10? I don't know understand, but what I do know, is that this game was actually really smart and interesting. Can't wait for episode 2.

So, funny story, nevermind. It said it couldn't find the file, but now it worked. I'm not sure what changed. Oh well.

I didnt much care for having to close the camera every time I wanted to change a setting... especially when esc didnt close the window

The video at the end has runes that, interpreted as mirrored medieval Scandinavian runes, reads "Mu Database StudioCime Som". What is Som? (PS: when I got to and solved the Tribune puzzle I wanted to upvote this with six stars; after the next few I think this game goes straight to 11! Can't wait for the sequel....)

Great Fun Game, unfortunately a bit short and a bit easy but I have hope for the future of this game and can't wait to see it get expanded

This was possibly the BEST game I've ever played! It was simple, yet extremely complex. I LOVED IT! I just have one question, is episode two coming out November 24 at 8 AM?

Somehow I never understood these types of games growing up and yet I absolutely loved this one. Thank you so much. I can't wait for the next episodes.

know nothing about programming, but once I got a few things figured out, had a great time with this game. Was very fun and had good challenges. 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh that was so much fun!!! I give you a 5. Looking forward to the next part! You made me realize how much I miss the old days and text adventures like the Zork series and Leather Goddesses of Phobos, just two of many that come to mind.

hint: there is an archive, just search"archive chicago tribune". for China-mainland guys like me, use a VPN or you won't see the searchbox of that archive.

Dear creator, I know you are awfully busy, but I'm a bit rusty on my futhark, what is the phrase at the end of the video, if you don't want to share this with everyone, simply PM me, and I promise I won't share. Most pleased Linux user, Isaik

This was so much fun!! I can't wait till Epi 2. I feel like for some reason Portal (with the AI and all) and a hacker all the same time <3

Joarib, the game happens today. That number of days puts the last login by Bruce Dayton at October 30th 1964, which seems reasonable, given that he celebrated his birthday at the facility on March 18th of that year.

LOVED it! Runes at the end caught my eye; luckily, someone else has done the leg-work on that:

Amazing: 30 years down the line after the first text adventures and this generation is proud of having solved a puzzle.. Try the Guild of Thieves or the Pawn for some serious brainwork ;)
In the current setting of low-IQ consumerism, I grant it a 5 though, as it kept me busy for almost an hour.

I have a couple of minor issues. In *Level 3*?? A guy is named Peter O'Brien with an 'E' but his mail is pobrian with an 'A'. Not affecting the game in any way but still something that stroke my mind.
On the level with the security camera, it is displaying real time (I was very impressed by that), but the game takes place somewhere around the year 2120 I my calculations are correct. That is unless the game year is 1961 and not 2061 as I assumed. Then the 21933 days later will be around 2021, which is still in the future.
Except from that this is an awesome game and I will go back to completing the last levels and earn myself a badge.
By the way I rated it 5/5.

I liked it. Being a Brit, I didn't know the Chicago Tribune was the name of a real paper so that had me stumped for a while, but once I got past that it was smooth sailing. :)

So Im stuck on the unlocking 5 computers to total 100%, I've got 4, but there are 2 that ...make no sense to me... the HARPS img, and a numerical hint..
