Before I x this out to do other things, does the game have a save feature? I wouldn't want to lose all my progress and cry for an hour.

Great! But I wished I was able to use left and right arrows to correct typing errors instead of having to rewrite all the command.

i love the fact that there is so much thought put into it, very nice code based puzzle game where you still have to think outside the box :) i hope there will be a lot more of these in the future!

The first text based game I've ever completed. Most bore me before I can get into them due to their confusing nature, but the whole premise of the game got me hooked from the start. I really liked the almost perfect learning curve (The News Paper Puzzle took me the longest but I was really happy when I 'hacked' it. I commend you for the portal references as I'm a huge fan of portal and the dialect reflected it beautifully. This game makes you feel like a real hacker, using real commands and is executed perfectly and makes you craving for more! 5/5 from me and I will be looking forward to the next instalment. Thank you

Wow. Just wow! I really can't say how much I liked to "play" this game. This is a game of a genre where you only have very very few (good) games. And this is a really great step forward, in my opinion. @Dev(s), keep up the good work, I'm curious about the future chapters! :)
P.S.: Unfortunately, the last level was pretty easy (or maybe its just me lol), but it found its way in my favourite list.

too many references to Portal... it's really too bad, it was a great game... meh. well done. Could of used a more happy atmosphere. I'm off to kill zombies and order troops around ^v^

Awesome game, really need to write down things and to look for answers elsewhere... the newspaper archives were bugguy though, made it harder T_T

This game is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! I loved how you had to look for info to solve puzzles and even more, to think how that info could ever help you! AMAZING! I'll be waiting for part 2!

I loved the game, I finish the game with my friend and we needed to be 3 person to finish it, can't wait for the sequel...

Best text-based, puzzle, rpg, and thought processing game ever made! Can't wait for the next episo... *dies from high blood pressure with an expression of pure distilled excitement frozen to his face*

Aww, you added a scroll bar? Since the terminal you're accessing IC was obviously an old system, I thought you'd left that out on purpose as a game mechanic so you'd have to remember stuff.

I have no idea what the solution to the colors hint is... And congratulations, you are supporting useless use of cat, a very bad habit :)

I keep hitting TAB instinctively, waiting for autocomplete to kick in... I've been working in bash for too long, I guess :3 That aside, please make it so that cursor can be moved with left and right arrows/home and end keys.

One really stupid puzzle 09, 01-13, 12-25-01 that took me ages to solve...
If you are having trouble which you will,
They translate into letters...
I is the 9th letter in the alphabet, 09
A is the 1st letter in the alphabet, 01
M is the 13th letter in the alphabet, 13
L is the 12th letter in the alphabet, 12
Y is the 25th letter in the alphabet, 25
A is the 1st letter in the alphabet, 01
So "I-Am-Lya"
Command: "cat introduction.mp3"
Password: "iamlya"
(Cake Is Lie)

Awesome game, great concept! Takes me back around 25 years to the days when you had to re-write your config.sys file every time you installed a new bit of software. Managed to beat it, but only by using Google. Six times! Five out of five, looking foward to a sequel.

I only had to google myself some help on the chicago tribune thing- once I got that one little clue though (and I just googled "how do I figure it out?" not the answer) I was better and getting through it. The bible one threw me a bit, but getting the password wasn't too difficult if you pay attention to what the journal says and try a few things.
Overall, a very satisfying game. I've tried these types of games before and they always get very complicated and difficult and are not very forgiving. This one lets you faff about a bit and make mistakes and I like that. Had a lot of fun. really got the hang of the codes towards the end!

Very nice puzzles! Enjoyed it much. Puzzles are really think-out-of-box but surprisingly easy once getting to know the trick. Definitely 5/5!!

Just a suggestion for episode 2, a full screen option. I know it's not needed but I feel like it would be pretty cool and add more to that realistic feeling when playing this. 5/5 Loved it

You should have provided this as a virtual machine or a real server you can SSH to, so I can keep the game open in a shell window instead :)

...Dude. Type 'Password' to display your password?! I mean I know Government computer systems are typically about as secure as Paris Hilton's knickers, but really?

spoilers ahead: for the last puzzle with the power supply, I think for annies bible reference it makes a difference which bible translation you use, the gps coordinates are close to salt lake city but not quite there, that's the one I didn't get?
