here are some tips to make money:
Drekar Camp, in the beginning, will pay a lot for forage, and won't run out of money, so accept the mission of 25 insects from Kukul, talk with Fafnir making drekar raider stop attacking you, and start with an infinite loop of trade! Follow Cricket's advice: take insects from Cricket, sell them to Lintu and buy wool, sell wool to Pullid and buy yarn, then sell it to Kivi and buy max 5 jackets. The rest of your money (or your cargo load) will be for the forage. Go to drekar and sell all forage and 1 jacket (color doesn't matter). The rest is easy.
If you choose to be good, bring some liberated slaves or prisoners to the now empty Drekar camp. When you find leather jackets, if the place doesn't pay you more than 5500 for each jacket, bring it there, because Drekar will buy it all for high price, and woon't run out of money.

Man, I came across a scavenger called "chucknorris", dont dont think he had any fancy armor and he had no helmit, so I shot him with my Mosin-Nagant with premium bullets at 100% chance and dealt no damage, so I came closer and gave him a headshot for 1 points, so thats when I started panicking!

Is it just me or some of the Npc's have a habit of saying "Kay" i mean is it just how it works in this kind of era or is this the main dialog writers personality coming into play into the conversations which would rather be very un-role play like. Or maybe im wrong all together i dont know. Maybe its just me over reacting.

Can you add buttons to the battle interface that says something like "Leave battle" and "Imprison enemies" that aren't clickable until everyone is panicking, so the popup doesn't have to show up all the time?

I found this game to be more enjoyable than Fallout :p
Just wish they had made it bigger... Once we beat the game we should get to build up our bunker and maybe even travel to another region of the wasteland..
I hope they make fallout 4 somthing like this :p

Please be mindful that even bandits in post apocalyptic worlds pay attention to clothing fashion. I heard some grune gang members complaining for not being able to find green tagelmust for their faction!

Those complaining about sucking at combat. Use your AP points wisely. In the beginning with melee combat let them come to you. Strike twice and leg it. They follow, if you have enough AP points they will stop short or possibly one hit. Then just rinse and repeat

@sotlat. Thanks man. Restarted and all good. To Devs I don't mind the dialogue being so sensitive so please don't see my comment as a complaint. I hate the way most RPGs handle dialogue. (I'm looking at you Skyrim) where it doesn't matter what you say the first time as you can just exit out and start conversation again with no consequences. I should be more mindful as to what I'm saying just like in real life :)

Redgoldandgreen> try raising their consumption percentage, also running out of supplies out while travelling decreases morale a lot. so, just increase their pay or consumption level

@Candle14: Negative slave reputation means that you're against slavism. If it were positive, then that would mean that you're a slavist. Same with Lawbreaker, negative is "good".
Now, For my real comment: I WANT TO BUY MORE UMI ALPHA!!! It's not right to be able to only obtain 6. I want to be able to buy them, doesn't matter the cost!!!!

Game design critique: The early game looks like it allows some options that actually make it VERY hard to progress. Also, it seems like I get negative slaver points when I either a) leave a slave in desert, b) escort them to town. Why? I have never owned a slave, but have -7. Also, why can't we buy slaves in order to free them? That should give us good reputation -- and is an interesting strategy (but will make Kevin hate you). Why? Also, early game seems to encourage buying lots of donkeys as a money-making strategy, but to cross the desert, it seems like you need to sell the donkeys off -- VERY hard to find the right balance for that first desert crossing, especially if you have any slow mercs (had to fire them). So, in short, some seeming options are really dead ends (or nearly so). The wierdness around the slave issue is especially troubling (shouldn't have negative slave rating -- I haven't owned any and have not cooperated with slavers).

Can someone tell me how to get my people's moral up? I've tried everything. Their moral is down to around 20... so I tried to do some indiscriminate killing of bandits and such. My people's moral shoots up by 20 points or so - then 2 minutes later, it's back down in the 20s. I've decided I'd try giving them a "vacation"... going to a town in the game that has beef, with a +5 or so moral on it... and just let them eat that, drink water, and not go anywhere... their moral goes up so slowly, then falls back down so quick. I get that I can pay someone more than their salary requires, but what about a volunteer? I can't pay them more... what can I do?

Where is a decent rifle found? I do not like the m16, its too low acc + dmg. Best rifle I have yet, is from the beginning, which is the Mosin-Nagant. I'm in the 3rd region but yet to find any launchers or sniper rifles (if are any) etc.

I'd love to see auto-stock-up button that would give me just enough water, forage and food if I can afford it, based on my planned route. So much time spent on manual supply...

@Drengi, I've restarted the game a couple of times and the dialogue is extremely sensitive. In a few cases, if you say something slightly wrong, it seems to close off a whole chain of events. The profit/kill options game balance also seems to be much harder than what i remember from the original. I would rate some good game playing tips, if someone knows them. Everyone already knows what attributes do.

I'm try to help Lois. She has tasked me with getting info on the Kivi religion. But Marco won't engage in anyother conversation other than trading. No line of dialogue seems to lead anywhere else. I did do a few loops of the settlements at the start to build up enough money to but the crickets so could have messed up on my initial visit to the Kivi camp. Not that I mind as the game is a lot of fun, but should I start again?

Can thaat double clicking in battle mode be fixed, each aim or walk needs to be clicked twice, with the possibility of walking instead of shooting or vice versa... But overall it's a very engrossing game, well thought out...

maybe just me, but I would prefer a map with integrated pathing; Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, for instance, with the attributes affecting all the same aspects and an added intelligence incentive, such as how often they discover trails, shinies ruins, or even chance to get lost, with accuracy extending the player's range of sight, this keeps the player in front of the screen.
just my thoughts after playing through the prelude a few times. I wish there were a way to pass time without leaving town, too. what kind of village doesn't have a tavern?

I took on a Caravan in the Federation...they had 65 armed men & women, I lost only ONE of my Mercenaries in the process. Oh yeah...they were carrying 65,000,000.00 dollars...just that one caravan. Whoah.

@wwwwww974: Quite odd, in my save the jacket production from the Kivi is still alive and well. In fact I'm still running the wool-yarn-jacket trade route to get enough jerry cans for my caravan to cross to New Serino.(damn Lintu only occaisionally sells them)

i wish there was a way that if i saw a slave with excellent stats that i could buy him and hire him without getting slaver rep. for every slave i buy this way, i have to buy and free like 5 others

Escorts carrying capacity should be added to the caravan. I just got beaten up and a damaged eye from single handedly freeing a slave from 6 Drekar. He has a carrying cap of 150 and will not help carry my stuff 100 feet to the nearest village??? There goes half my cargo. Thanks. Other times I have thousands of dollars of cargo, we're miles from anywhere to spend money in any direction, and there are 3 groups of slavers on our trail... but I can't pay my merc this second, so they stop carrying things. I hate everyone in this desert. They are all terrible people.

Here's the what game should have done during the Beta?
- Narizean should be moved to Lintu (they lost a lot of young men) and have more companions.
- Ability to create country from the Tribal areas (Industries and tax collection).
- CROUCH AND PRONE!

I was lost and so I wandered in the desert, and thats when I stumbled across the 'Sexual Tree', I was like "O_O", but then I read again and got it right... Man I feel dirty minded XD, I hope I wasnt the only one getting that wrong!
