right now i have 3 volunteers, 7mercenaries and 11prisioners...it would be nice if we could setup the battle formation. i hate that the prisioners get to stand in front of my crew and they would have to spend ap to be able to shoot...this situacion would be solved if i could store the prisioners in my industries storage xD i need them for the unemployment

i would like very much if the game had its own chat room.so i could talk to others as i play many hours a day..idk if theres requirements or anything else so that the game has the chat room but it would be very nice

first thing to do if you want money attack a drekar caravan they have a bunch of leather vest always sell leather vest in the market where you buy food, they pay double than what the gun store would pay. second off dont rat out lois youll eventually find olaf. in order to get kivi to attack drekar youll have to find spencer rice for them to accept and fool him into thinking drekar wants war. convince kevin instead of joining up with calvin. kevin well lead you to join the liberation army (thats a good thnig) the best means of transportation i have discovered is getting horses they're faster, get one male horse and all the rest females. it will lead to them getting pregnant and giving you new horses without buying some more. you will have to assign passengers on to the horses or attach carts on to them they don't automatically do that as i found out.

GUYS!> I don't know if it's me but do this : Look at the small Game screen at the very center. Then move your head slowly to the right with your eyes fixed to the center of the game screen. It changes color! From yellowish sand to whitish gray!

Strong recommendation to anyone with windoze playing all the way to the end - find your game saves in their obscure location and save them outside of Temporary Internet Files. My system updated itself and in the process cleared my temp IE folder. Starting over.

This game must be really awesome for people who love tedious math! I can't believe the number of times i've been close to enough calories to transport my wares to another town for barter but couldn't do it because they didn't have enough cheap food for me to buy at a weight that's low enough to get there and still avoid all the BS needed to traverse this world. There's a reason why nobody plays the original AD&D with all these f'ing numbers to keep track of or die in the desert without a camel. Almost a fun game...

I have been playing this game for months. I love it! I have been a hero and a slaver. I play the story and the sandbox. I play other games from time to time, but I keep coming back. I guess I want to see what it's like when (or if) it is finally finished. It has been early beta for a while, but if there have been changes I have not seen them (outside of colored outfits in battle mode.) Very addictive game. 5 stars from me.

It seems that selling same items at once will give you more money than selling them in batches "sometimes". Even though the estimated prices will go lower when you click to sell them one by one, the average price doesn't go lower in some extent. To be noticed, this trick doesn't works all the time. Not sure if it for some goods only or if it depends on demand. There is one more small tip: selling goods to its corresponding store doesn't always give most profit, you might find better price for your weapons in cart shops and grocery stores.

You should add features you can see on the overland map, for example, roads on major trade routes, I don't know how exactly you envision the world in caravaneer, but I still imagine mountains and trails would exist

Thanks, Midg3333. That rings a bell in my memory. I wish I didn't have to work so I could just play this 12 hours a day to the end without having to pick up where I left off a day or 20 ago.

@Wolf10220: Prisoners stay in your caravan untill you release them. Former slaves, however, are not prisoners and will leave in the first town you enter. An option to enslaving, is to hire them as mercenaries, but only if their morale is high enough.

all i wish is they wouldnt make us guess the money in towns the new items compared to caravaneers 1 are phenominal the change of how the story line advances compared to caravaneers 1 is insane and so intricate but the money guessing will screw over anybody i learned about it on games of honor which first hosted this game before kongregate if that is gone the game is perfect still 5 stars tho

@billcat, it's something along the lines of "federation are important trading partners, we won't start a war". In terms of progressing the storyline, go back to liberation army HQ and talk to the leader about what to do next. Remember that any time you get stuck, there are plenty of online resources to help you (the wiki is probably your best bet for story-related questions)

Does anyone know what the prez in Qubba says the first time you meet him? I didn't manage my saves very well and forgot what he said. So now I have to go back and resume that first difficult journey across the wasteland.

Krazykid85: I don't know. It s at least immense. Playing maybe 2 to 8 hours a week it took me a few months to get past where you are and the another two months to take the next step. Sorry for being vague, but I'm trying to avoid spoilers. I'm guessing that after a year of playing at my slow rate I'm nowhere close to the end of the story-line.

@Billcat yeah so im gonna start over. i found my file. My Files were sorted and i saw that if i changed it my caravaneer file popped up so ill have to save my progress by updating my file instead of a saved game inside caravaneer 2 itself if that makes any sense

@killaco12 No they can't. Donkey, Horse, Camel are the only Animals that can carry Carts. (Well, Cows can aswell... but nobody wants that 3 Movespeed.....)

JacobMOO -You probably have an automatic IE cleanup tool erasing internet history and temporary internet files - which includes game saves. I manually go through my temp files once a year, which takes a good hour.

also dont buy maps in sandbox mode, copy the distances and directions from story mode on paper and walk there FOR FREE
