slaves expand your max. carry capacity and can be sold for good profit in slaver towns... (but give you slaver reputation which might tip you towards the Federation path)

OMG!!! In Alkubra the first merc I hired was called Hanri. I went through a lot with that guy, a looong time it was only he and I. Fast-forward, I'm in the third zone, found much better people available in bigger cities so I dismiss Hanri. More time passes and I get attacked by some Scavengers, win and capture ONE of them; check him out in the crew just out of curiosity... SAME HAIRCUT, SAME SKIN TONE, SAME BLUE EYES, but this guy is called Henri. I almost had a heart attack. I thought for a moment that my old time buddy Hanri had gone bad. I should visit Hanri soon.

Ok, heres 1 more tip. After you defeat the Federation Army, you have 5 Ultra trucks that burn through fuel like nobodys business, and about 25k fuel. If you don't want to sell the trucks, and don't to use up all your fuel driving them (thats like 8-9 million dollars worth of fuel..) then this tip is for you. Head straight to your bunker which has infinite storage and drop off all but 500L of fuel plus whatever else you might want to stash. This storage seems to be infinite. Next go across to the drekar camp and expand the storage by 4500kg for each truck you want to park. Each expansion of 4500 costs 225k, which is palatable at this point in the game for sure.

kyahahahaha!! the creator of this game must be very fans of Chuck Noriz :D cant stop laughing for making him a legend in this game ^_^

I think some changes might be needed to make vehicles practical and sustainable. There are no recurring enemies in the game that drop fuel (only the federation army during an event). You could stockpile fuel by purchasing it in the few towns that have it, but it wont last long. The strain is just too great, so in the end users will just roll with horses and carts and vehicles will go unused. I'm not sure what the solution is, but having enemies drop fuel later in the game would go a long way to help the situation. Having some sort of base where we could park cars and store them would also be fantastic.

The ability to completely lose the main plot early on, and not be able to recapture it (the letter doesn't let you look for Calvin) is the only reason this is 4 stars rather than 5

How do you improve reputation with Kukul? i attacked his man in the very beginning of the game to get the scimitar and now I can't get the book from him because he won't talk to me. My rep is still +5 with him
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Here is a neat trick. Early in the game when Calvin asks you to drive Kevin out of the house, tell him you will. Instead of ever doing that, help Kevin with the Liberation Army missions. The dialog to attack him is always there and never goes away. Once you get towards the end of the game when you can handle the reputation hit, attack him until hes panicking and imprison him. He will join your army for a mercenary fee and you can use his house for storage. You will lose a little reputation with everyone (pullid, kivi, liberation army, etc) and something like 200 from the Qubba government.

How many of you tried the 'Randomize Name' and picked the most weirdest name ever? I tried and picked R2-D2.+ if you tried.

I captured a federation cop named Syda with stats 9/10/8/7, and I think I'm in love. I had to keep her locked in a cage for a week or two before she would agree to join me, but after that she signed on for 3k a week.. amazing! I used farm shinobis for my mercs, but the federation cops are even better!

@LelandLL: did you think about your max weight, your consumption of water, and the fact that water containers also weigh something? take a look at youre glitches considering these factors plz.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@lelandLL The water containers are ok don't forget if you have 1 liter milk in a 10liter container, you will be 9 liters below the sum of capacity.

Guys, When you load your saved game. You may notice there is an Glitch when it comes to the supplies. One time when you load game, you noticed that your containers disappeared especially with the water. It may not display the information correctly and is inconsistent every time you load the game.
To be Extact:
Load the Game:
You brought 25 Water containers that can hold 110L
You save the game
The next thing, you noticed you have random numbers when it come to water/food and/or resources fluctuating between 70-75L. And then you noticed there is an glitch every time that you load game, it tends to not be consistent
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've brought a lot of containers and i brought then it won't let fill beyond 70-80L. It's an water bug that needs to be fixed especially if you need to go town to town

@Cur10s1ty When you put them into training you take their equipment and have to put it back on them once you get them back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I sent a team member out for training at the police academy and they came back without any of their equipment! A warning message would have been nice.

@Sold1567 It likely would not be a good idea to see this in Steam Greenlight because although this is a great flash game and a personal favorite of mine, having Steam Greenlight host a flash game in comparison to a more developed game with more resources such as Prison Architect would be underwhelming in comparison to all the other entries. This would not be a favorable model for future Steam Greenlight entries.
Moreover, if it were in Steam Greenlight now it would require substantially more features or an editor of sorts to set it apart from its browser version and more funding given the Indiegogo campaign funds would have been expended on the finished product we are seeing now.

@Rastof Did you save to file before your savegame was gone so you could reload it or give the browser appropriate storage to save your game?

How come I cannot help Kevin anymore? I had my 1st character and I let Drekar go away with those negoations, but my finance wasn't stable, so I created new char, but instead I convinced Kivi to kill Drekars, now I cannot do Kevin's missions, and I can't get my trustworthy up anywhere, is there a way to change this without starting all over?

Protips:
in the main menu: you can find the languages.
When you the open up the languages, you will see a little box in the corner which says 'Unfinished languages'.
After clicking on the box, scroll to the bottom of the page.
You will find 'Pirate English' '1337' and 'Hillbilly/redneck.'
So now, after the climate change apocalypse, the only ones who survived were those who had no regard for human life, a highly codified culture, and indepth knowledge of weaponry and psychological warefare:
A bunch of Desert Strike playing trolls.

Tip:In the beginning talk to emila and pretty much be a dick when talking to her. Pick the meanest choice possible and it will end up in her giving you a huge bonus in the form of a golden ring. Go to Lintu and DO NOT sell it at the market. You will get 400 tops for it. Go to the merchant and you will get over 2000$(huge boost). Also if you accept the quest from lintu to get the insects for him before doing that go to chairman brass and tell him that the guy needs insects and he will ask if he can help. Ask for something valuable and he will give you a golden ring. Go buy the insects with your nice 2.6k and you will have a lot left over and go sell that ring. You will result with 3.5kish and the 1st quest completed.+ so others can see.

It's annoying how the enemy charges at you like there is no tomorrow. I would expect rent-a-cop to be less kamikaze...
