also in caravaneer something to notice. Diep Gat and Verdammter Platz are both German. they mean Deep Hole and Damn(ed) Place.

Nevets77: The only problem with what you say is that, Caravaneer is almost 2 years OLDER than Frontier... If anything, Frontier is a "knock off version" of caravaneer.

This game is neat, but it is unoriginal. I recommend you play Frontier, because this is basically a knock off version of Frontier.

I'm enjoying the game, but the constant, unavoidable bandit attacks are starting to get annoying. Especially once they all start using guns, and you don't have time to recover from one attack before the next one hits you.

Ok I just noticed a little minor bug. It's only happened twice so far, but I figured I should let you know about it. I'll be on the travel map, and both times it's happened there's been a bandit group chasing me, but they'll be far away. Then I'll get the bandit attack message, and a fight will start. But as soon as I kill the first bandit, the fight is over and I get free loot.

Wow I get attacked by 2 robbers(3 and 2)then I heal my 2 as much is I can and here a pack of 4 attack me I survive (I have 50 grams of meds) and they randomly die (when they do I have 25 kg food and 45 liters of water)!!

It could sound dumb but an auto-save feature for the second installement would be awesome... usually go with the game and forgot to save so... I know its a dumb error, still a toggable auto-save feature would be ok.

well i have discovered a serious exploit/bug, i saw a NaN item in the shop and after buying it my money, water and capacity all went to NaN so the game treats it like infinity, that way i can buy any amount of any item at any cost and not lose anything lol

from the official site:
"02-Jul-2014: The game is close to completion. What's left to do is adding sounds and some content. It's almost certain that an open beta will be released at this site before the end of July."
fack yeah dudes!

is there an end to this game... ? i am where the desert patrol chief ask me to become incharge of finance support, 3 million are a lot of money :(

it took me hours and many deaths to learn ho to play this game but once you learn it is one of the best games on the site if not number 1

Love this game, now I just need to start remembering which direction I was headed before looting the robbers caused me to get overloaded. Then I won't get lost in the desert again..at least looting the robbers while I'm lost keeps me stocked with food & water!

A wonderful game if ever I saw one. This game has a steep learning curve, but once you overcome it, you'll find that every component of the game comes together to make something completely and utterly cohesive.

Some of the trade opportunities from the news are just awful...one town had a shortage of cotton (none on the market when I got there), yet they only were paying a few cents more than I bought it for, and I ended up just getting like $20 of profit, not even worth the trip.

Once you get the stuff from the sheriff, sell the donkey for a mule: You'll be a lot faster even though it consumes more. Also, invest in getting the pistol that uses the magnum ammunition early, that thing is VERY good in combat. 2 AP per quick shot, and if you someone with around 12 AP a turn, you can cause roughly 54 points of damage+ per turn.

Shittiest game ever, No way to tell w'm going, no way to tell what distance will cost me what AP, the actual traveling is shotty at best.
1/5

Hint of hope from website:17-May-2014: I have just finished the game's story, which was the last big thing to do. There's still a relatively complex feature that needs to be programmed, which is computer controlled caravans, but it won't take very long. The rest are small details. According to my calculations, a public beta version of the game may be released in the beginning of July.

Is there a way to fix a problem with movement, I can get my troops to use 10 AP to go ahead in a straight line, but sometimes I have to manually go little by little or they'll make a turn and waster 3 AP or more.

A note: Do not listen to the Sheriff about Drushlak. The clothes cost around 40 when you get there, the min. price is around 9. Only buy the clothes from there if they cost 10-20$. Transport medicine from there into Caganel instead.

hmmm if you listen to the sheiff he tells you a very profitable route it made me over 10 thousand doll hairs and 3000 $
