This is one of my all-time favorite Flash games. The combination of random simulation, economics, turn-based combat, and the general RPG mechanics of building a very powerful party just make for the most additive gameplay (ex: X-Com/UFO). I hope in the pursuit of a modern engine for the sequel, the purity and addictiveness of the gameplay isn't lost. The game design here is legendary.

Didn't really like it, no offence it's just not my kind of game ... It got good feedback though and i'm sure it's good, just I dont like it.

Great game. My only complaint is that there are too many robbers; at some point, you end up making more money killing other robbers and taking their money than from the actual trade.

I think toning down the bandit attacks would be nice. Getting attacked once every ten seconds isn't difficult, it's just annoying.

Here is an idea with number 2 tanks they have to be expensive but the tanks do DAMAGE. Just wanted to pitch in my ideas. Hit + i there should be tanks.

the retreat option really needs to be there, or bribe police if you accidentally click fight when they pop up repeatedly (specially around Qubba)

hit + if you think this game should have an autosave....so many times i forget to save and then i get hit by 14 robbers and they overwhelm me

I just payed a cop $1000 7 times in 30 seconds, thats $7000 bucks gone because I was in a "protected zone". I should only need to pay once for every time I enter! >_<

I dont understand why my overall capacity is fluctuating while I travel, at first it'll be at 152/260 or something, and halfway there it'll be 150/96... I understand why the first number is going down, but not the second number...

LOVE this game 5/5 after all picture this scenario
you do the rebel base detruction mision on , 2 desert patrol caravans protect you , 8 men - combat engi included , you finish the mision , your main char , and 2 of ur most elite guys are almost dead - engi included , desert patrol gets wiped out after protecting you of around 15-20 groups of rebels 15-20 each of witch they kil at least 6-9 , and in the end more apear and attack you , best chances ??
well your main ( like me ) can still use an rpg with 2 rounds , you have 1 grenadier , my fav is Constantin Sorescu :P he gets fast to str 14 , and you use 3-4 men as meat shields and in the end . worked for me

i believe thew wa to do it is 5 on accuracy 10 on agility and strength
due to the fact that agility affects character movement speed which is very important for speed at early and mid stages of the game and cannot be improved just like the hp of ur character which as arc said also cant be changed throughout ur caravaneer career

Just some tips for those beginning this game: In the character creation screen, decrease all your intelligence points and increase your Accuracy to 7, Agility to 8 and the rest on Strength. Strength affects your hp and is the only this in the game that cannot be improves throughout the course of the game. And the first thing you do when you enter a different town is to refill your water. Second thing you do is to check your ammo supplies. If you find that you're halfway through the desert without any ammo and five robbers attack you, you might as well be gone. Another a last word of advice is to know that after a while, trading around the starting three towns becomes non-profitable. But don't leave that area until you have at least 20k and a hired man.

To earn a little extra cash, buy medicine when it is less than one dollar and sell it to places that it is more expensive. Medicine is very light so you can carry a lot at once, and it helps your guys stay alive also.

best tip for easy money is to goto hara buy as much medicine as you can then go to gubba and sell it can make easy and quick cash

While you're traveling to a city, or just roaming the desert, look at the bottom right hand part of your game screen. there will be a wrench. click it, and there will be a "save game" button. :D
